"The service for takeout is exceptional. If you choose to dine in, though, be prepared for the servers to be quite busy, which can make it difficult to get their attention. If you're short on time, it might help to let them know at the start; they are eager to please and will want to ensure you have a great experience. As for parking, it can be a challenge in this plaza due to the number of businesses and limited spots available. There is more parking available near Safeway, so that might be a better option."

"We saw negative reviews that mentioned wait times and tried to give it a chance anyway. We always take reviews with a grain of salt. Well... we walked in 5min before our open table reservation time. 3 or 4 other parties came in about the same time. Not a single person came to greet ANY of us. Not even a “be right with you” to anyone for over 20 minutes. When someone finally said hello, they had never heard of open table or any reservations and we were going to be put on the regular wait list like everyone else. A woman told us she’d been waiting over 30min to pick up a called-in to go order. It appeared they had 2 servers and 1 hibachi chef during the prime dinner hour. It’s not those employees’ fault that they’re understaffed but letting groups of people stand around without so much as a greeting is unacceptable. I made a reservation specifically because waiting for a table with 2 children is an unwelcomed challenge. I really don’t know if the food is good and I probably never will know because we’ll continue going to the other hibachi place in town."

"I want to point out that the water here is impeccable. Many restaurants have poor water. This water tastes purified. So fresh. I imagine The fountain of youth tastes just like this. Like.. I be looking for that taste in every restaurant. If the water is good, you know the food is gonna BUSSSS.Everything is good about this place. I’ve had the ramen everytime I’ve went and it’s so spicy and good! Great flavor. I’ve had the chicken and the beef. The chicken is my favorite tho. That broth was just impeccable.I didn’t like that I read that the ramen noodles were like the thin noodles you get in a .20 cent pack at the grocery and that’s false. These are thicker than those. Thick enough. They’re not the thicker ramen noodles I’ve had at other places BUT are they better? ABSOLUTELY. I get extremely full before I finish my bowl so that’s all that matters. When food makes you happy and hopeful all of a sudden after eating you know it’s good. This place definitely brings bliss and they have amazing prices!!I had the rainbow roll too. Delicious. Fresh. I added eel sauce. I was SO full."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and fresh. I ordered spicy fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and it had just the right amount of heat. The service was fast (I received my food within minutes) and I also tried the Pad Thai noodles, which were fantastic."

"Tldr; came for a late between 1 and 2 lunch on a Friday in July 2022. Okay, it's not worth writing home. Bento Box teriyaki Lachs and California Roll was satisfied, but either not enough content, not high enough quality, or not cheap enough $14 to make this a 5/5 experience. That, and the staff repeatedly tried to remove dishes that I had still eaten or the review that came when I had asked to order more did not end any more order. [Now another star that remembers it."

"My family loves this restaurant . We discovered them 30 years ago in their first location in Montgomery St Jersey City . We have brought a lot of friends here who in turn continue to patronize them . Aside from the food being delicious tasting and gastronomically appealing , the ambiance of the restaurant is friendly with a view of the New York skyline. The staff are courteous and efficient ."

"This place was great! Service was great, food was even better! And I’m coming from lower east side in nyc so trust me- I don’t know what everyone else is talking about. Maybe they were having a personal bad day and projected it onto their experience here but this place is great. And my partner has taken me to other Asian places here that I will not name but I will never go to there again. But Yokohama, is my NEW FAVORITE PLACE!I had the chicken ramen and I asked them to make it spicy, and the chicken buns. No pictures because I am trying to use my phone less unless it’s important—Like leaving this review."

"The lobster was well-cooked, chopped, and served in its shell, but once again, it was overwhelmed by the same sweet teriyaki sauce. The meal comes with two lobster tails, but only one shell was on my plate. However, I suspect they used both tails and combined the meat into one shell for presentation. The lobster was tender, but the excessive sweetness overshadowed its natural flavor. On the bright side, the fried rice was cooked perfectly and didn't need any extra sauce, although it ended up coated in sauce from the other items. The portion size was good, but my lobster hibachi cost $30 after tax, whereas the shrimp meal is $20. The diner has a cozy atmosphere with little foot traffic, so I appreciated being able to get my food quickly without hassle. I would suggest that they avoid over-saturating dishes with thick teriyaki sauce and instead focus on balancing flavors with a quality soy sauce, teriyaki, and seasonings like those used at Ichiban or Nagoya. Additionally, the vegetables should look more appealing and not appear dry—some butter would enhance everything. Offering a clear mushroom soup as a side, as well as including a fortune cookie and chopsticks for takeout orders, would also be nice touches. My kids enjoy trying to use chopsticks! I think I'll order from them again, but next time, I'll specify how I want my food prepared, as I believe they will accommodate my requests. Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant."
