"Montmartre is our favorite restaurant in DC. We love the atmosphere and the food, and with half-price on bottles of wine, Sunday is a great time to go. We've eaten there dozens of times, with friends and out of town guests. We've never had a bad meal or even a bad course. The menu isn't extensive, but what is there is done perfectly. Book a table and be guaranteed a wonderful evening."

"Very unhappy with the slow service. Food wasn 't worthy of the high prices. And additionally they have a VERY QUESTIONABLE dress code for a billiard sports bar. I think if they want to be considered a high class , upscale dinning establishment, they should ramp up their service menu and consider completely separating themselves from the billiards. But hey that 's just my opinion. I just know, I won 't be going there nor will I recommend that anyone else go there."

"My brother suggested we stop here for lunch. They offer shrimp, calamari, fried oysters, clam strips, salmon, mahi mahi, cod, catfish, tilapia, and haddock though today they were out of haddock. Most everything comes with fries and or coleslaw. I had the cod cake with pasta salad and vegetables. The prices seemed a little high until I received the order. Generous portions of each item filled my plate. The cod cake was very well balanced and fried to perfection. The cocktail sauce (self serve) balanced out the texture and flavor for me.The pasta salad with rotini, peas, and what looked like bits of fish had the right amount of dressing and complemented the cod cake. The steamed sliced carrots, yellow squash and green beans rounded out the meal for me.My friend had the clam chowder and he said it had plenty of clams in it. I didn't taste it, but it smelled wonderful.I can see why my brother recommended this place. He told me this place makes the best calamari strips, not rings.I am going to bring my wife here next time."

"Lithos used to be our favorite restaurant, but we haven't been there for a while. Last week we went for dinner and, unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Everything from service to food to cocktails became much less quality. Cocktails were not tasty, the only good thing about them was a decent amount of alcohol. The food was so so, the same dishes that we ordered before were not as good. They used to have an impeccable service, but this time everything from refusing to accommodate table that we wanted, when restaurant was only 30% full, to an impatient waiter was a disappointment. The bill for 2 was over $135 before tip we can easily find a better place to spend our money. Not recommended."

"I've been visiting Billingsley's for over twelve years, almost weekly, for small gatherings with friends. It has consistently delivered a great experience, and since the new ownership, it's improved even more. What's not to love? On Mondays, they offer a complete prime rib dinner that includes a fantastic salad, your choice of meat, a potato, several vegetables, a drink, and dessert (if you can fit it all in) - all for under $20. They also have lamb chops, salmon, and the wedlock sandwich for when you're not too hungry. There's truly something for everyone, so give it a try!"

"This restaurant is not suitable for our family. We visited last night and the salad dressing for my salad tasted like it had been sitting out for days. They also messed up our pizza order, acknowledged it, but didn’t seem to care. The waitress was inattentive, and the cook in the kitchen gave the impression of being randomly hired from off the street. Overall, the food was subpar, service was lacking, and I felt uneasy about the person preparing my meal. No thanks. We should have gone to Fabianos instead!"

"Fabulous brunch. John was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service just the right amount of attention balanced with privacy. The food was very good my husband has the daily special omelet and it was perfectly cooked. I had the French toast which was amazing light, fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness bacon went along with it very well. The French toast alone will bring me back and add the quality service and this is the new go to place for brunch. Absolutely would recommend."

"I'm staying at the Fairfield Inn Suites behind this Sports Bar. After working all day, I was tired and didn't want to get back into traffic on the 101, so I decided to eat within walking distance. I looked up locations around me and came across Sportsman Camarillo. The menu had so many great choices for dinner, and even the appetizers were tempting. I finally decided on the rack of lamb for $44, which came with mixed veggies and my choice of clam chowder instead of a salad, along with a baked potato as my side. I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. When I walked over to the restaurant 20 minutes later, the atmosphere and setting were definitely more bar than restaurant. I was greeted by both bartenders, and one of them checked on my order. It wasn't ready yet but only took another 8 minutes. When I got back to my room and opened my plate, I was immediately disappointed. But then again, I did order lamb chops at a bar. The lamb chops were cooked to my requested temperature, but no seasoning at all had been added. The presentation of the signature rolls wasn't great, and the taste was just as bad. The mixed veggies, which I was looking forward to as much as the lamb, were just as disappointing—soggy and not visually appealing. The baked potato wasn't the loaded baked potato I'm used to; it had no cheese or bacon, only chives and green onions, and they still included the sour cream I asked them to hold. The clam chowder was the best part of my dinner. I won't ever visit this establishment again, but if I had to for some reason out of my control and I wasn't paying for it, I would only order the clam chowder."

"The service was excellent, and for a change, the music was at a low volume, playing old-school disco instead of overpowering dance club beats. However, when it comes to the food, if you're looking for a great steak, I'd suggest going to Rue Bistro or grilling it at home. I ordered the NY strip, but it was sent back to me raw instead of medium, and it had no flavor—it tasted like it came off a dirty grill! The fries were also cold and tasteless. It's disappointing, especially since the restaurant was only half full due to the season; you would think the kitchen could do better. This place has great potential and is a wonderful addition to the area, so I hope the owners don’t lose sight of what they have. They really need to improve the kitchen, especially at the prices they're charging. On a positive note, the wine list is quite good and very affordable right now."

"It's interesting that this is the first review in quite a long time, last August in fact. We were there Friday the Feb and to say the food was bad is an understatement. Canapes were served prior to the meal and tasteless would describe...every plate. Crab lolly pops, chicken skewers so overcooked I thought they were squid and risotto pops. Everything had zero seasoning and bland covers all of it. The salad was ok but how do you ruin a cesar salad? The main was a different story all-together, a crab risotto that tasted more like rice pudding with a dried out rubbery crab leg on top that hadn't been cleaned properly, resulting in myself almost choking on a inch piece of hardened cartilage in a dish once again with no seasoning and no condiments on the table to season yourself. When the best course of a meal is the dessert it doesn't say much for the talent of the chef who I have to say cannot possibly have tasted food going out to his patrons. The decore and atmosphere of the restaurant were fabulous, the food much less so. I cannot believe that this is the norm at this establishment as there are so many good reviews, I hope for the owners sake this weekend was a one off."

"Just the facts ma'am. 20 minutes late getting a table for 6:30 reservation. Really don't care. Appetizer House special cheese spread very good and like the beer cheese I make. 4 stars. Regular salad and 25 cents extra for the blue cheese dressing. First time in 50 years I've seen that. 2 stars. One hour forty minute wait for a low grade rib-eye and similar filet mignon. 1 Star. (Wait was timed and accurate. cooked within one level of how ordered. Baked potato was the size of a racquetball at best. Butter and no other condiments. 1 Star. Steamed broccoli fresh and a good portion. 4 stars. Waiter was super nice and doing all he could but had no control over the situation. Owner sitting at bar throwing back bourbons while understaffed workers trying to explain to customers why it takes 2.5 hours for dinner. -5 stars This guy is out of his league laughing all the way to the bank. Never again."

"This was my husbands first time there. He is a meat eater, he loves Mikes in Springfield Va because of their steak and prime rib. He got the 36oz Porterhouse steak. He was in Heaven here on earth. He told me yesterday : no need to drive up north in traffic for a good steak anymore. It was our 18th anniversary and his 58th birthday on yesterday . I made the reservation as a gift to him. He was so pleased and Happy. Thank you for making our day special. Tammy Hamn"

"Family owned diner. There honestly is nothing bad I could say about this place. They are BEYOND kind and go out of there way to make sure you have a great time. Me and my boyfriend have been here twice now and both times have had the same waiter, you can't miss him cause he's super tall, I didn't happen to get his name, but honestly such a great guy! Please if you want to support a family owned business then eat here! You leave stuffed and in a better mood! "The first time here. I love places that have a solid family history. We have the poor steak sandwich for what they are known for. What makes this different is the garlic butter that it is applied to the meat, not the bread. Unlike garlic bread, which can be unconsistent taste, this taste is consistent. It's a party in your mouth with every bite. We didn't get anything to get the full taste of the 6 oz round steak. Next time I add the mushrooms. They offered cheese, onions or mushrooms. It comes with thin-cut pimples. I have to say it adds a nice note when considering that I'm not in the Pickle Fanclub. The sandwich is a beautiful size and will make me 2 meals. I ordered fries and my husband ordered onion rings. The Pommes were common, the star was the onion rings. The presentation was appealing, they were crispy and beautiful light rings. They can bite through the onions, perfectly cooked. I hate to bite in an onion ring and the whole thing comes out. It is served with Ranch Dressing. Our friends recommended the double-baked potato. It was good, but I think it really wasn't with that sandwich. But my husband enjoyed it. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the service is very good and attentive. The onion rings are expensive, but worth every penny. This restaurant was forever and does not need my review, but they have a great place, and we need to spread the word! We'll drive 60 miles and we'll be back!"

"Food is overpriced. When we go out to eat elsewhere we are always served a hearty portion, often take home half of my portion for later! For the money we spent I barely get enough food and still end up eating again later in the evening. The alcohol is hugely overpriced and the drinks are certainly not over poured. They claim a pub food menu in the lounge but don't have any! Their pub atmosphere is destroyed with a 9 dollar hot dog and a 15 dollar burger. That's not pub food, that's highway robbery. On top of everything else they can't make a good drink correctly and often run out of liquor. Our guest ordered a Jack Daniel's shot. They didn't have it. I ordered risotto with my meal and it was identical to the mashed potatoes. A water glass was spilled at our table and no one would help us clean it up. Told us to go get paper towels from the bathroom. Never eating or drinking there again."

"Very average dinner. Parking was an issue due to a benefit that was going on in their hall. Normally parking would be fine. We were the only people in the dining room, so we anticipated quick service. Not the case. My drink arrived, but there was lipstick on the rim and I wasn't wearing lipstick. I showed the waitress. She brought a new drink, but didn't apologize or really even say anything about it. I ordered the walleye special with caramelized onions and cheddar cheese. It was just ok, I wasn't expecting it to be just sliced cheese slapped on and melted on top. My husband ordered a side of fries with his fish tacos. The brought him a tiny appetizer plate with about a dozen fries, hardly worth the upgrade. The amount of fish on his tacos was not worth it either. It was just a strange dinner. The place has so much potential, but just never lives up to it. We won't be back"
