"Last night, I hosted another smaller dinner party and ordered from Stamna again. When the delivery driver arrived, he only had one bag with him. Knowing my order, I realized something was off, and my guests were already hungry. I reached out to Stamna, and they informed me that they had the other bag at their restaurant. They had attempted to call me to inform me about the missing bag, but our calls must have missed each other.
With only half the food available, I served my guests a variety of Greek salads and makarounes pastichio, all of which were delicious. The rest of the food (souvlaki sticks, assorted dips, pita bread, etc.) arrived about 40 minutes later. Stamna had sent an employee to deliver the missing bag, but by that time, we had already finished eating, and I simply let my guests take the extra food home. Fortunately, my dinner guests were understanding, but I find both situations unacceptable.
As I mentioned, I am a regular at Stamna and will continue to support them because they usually get it right 99% of the time. In my opinion, they are the best authentic Greek restaurant in the area, but I believe providing feedback is important."
