"The lemongrass chicken arrived on the salad straight from the refrigerator, and unfortunately, it was overcooked, making it tough and dry. However, I did enjoy the dressing; it had a good flavor and was sufficient for the salad. The mac and cheese, on the other hand, was quite dry. The sauce was unbalanced and bland, lacking the right amount of creaminess relative to the noodles."

"I'm really happy I discovered this place! I ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the restaurant experience itself, but the food was so good that I ordered from them twice in one week—something I rarely do! I tried the BBQ Bacon Melt Burger with Garlic Parmesan Fries and added a Cookies and Cream Shake. The burger was a fantastic mix of flavors. The only downside was having to finish it! The fries were hit or miss; the first time they were a bit lacking in both parmesan and cheese, but the second time they were fantastic. The shake was the perfect complement to the burger. If you're in LA, you should definitely give The Melt a try. You won't regret it!"

"Decent selection of daily cupcake offerings, which makes this the perfect place to stop in for a quick birthday gift or if you just have a sweet tooth like me. "MeltBurger was fantastic! I particularly enjoyed the Snickerdoodle Shake, Cheddar Bacon Fries, Strawberry Lemonade, and the Melty Mac. My only letdown was the Caesar Salad; the lettuce wasn't very fresh, the avocado was overripe, and it was missing croutons. But I guess that's to be expected from a place that doesn't specialize in salads!"

"The new go-to for fish and chips. PRO TIP: fish is best when they are busy and the fryer is hot; off hours quality can be irregular. Portions are ample and prices are good. Parking in the back. "This was my first time at The Melt.Janeka was amazing! She had high energy and was super helpful offering suggestions on what to order and answering lots of questions. Could tell she loves her job and was having fun. She even gave us directions to a place close by to eat outside upon our request for an open air location to take advantage of the fantastic weather.Ended up ordering a burger with avocado, bacon, caramelized onions and melt sauce with no cheese so also got rid of the “mix” that was referenced on the menu as part of the burger). And, ordered the cookies and cream shake.Burger was fantastic and as others have said, it’s a lot of burger …. You will not be hungry after and may not be able to finish. Sadly, there was cheese on my burger but still 5* because Janeka was great and I ate it anyway.Next time I’ll check before I leave :)Shake was also fantastic. Highly recommend you eat here when in the area."

"I ordered a BBQ bacon burger on a gluten-free bun, but the restaurant decided to leave out the BBQ sauce and bacon. I was pretty disappointed because if I was concerned about cross-contamination, I would have just ordered a regular burger instead. "For fans of The Melt, this place can be a hit or miss compared to the original sit-down version. If you keep that in mind, you should be satisfied if you're craving some late-night comfort food or if you can't make it to a regular The Melt location. I’m not sure why the quality isn't consistent with the original version, but the two Melt items I tried today were quite good, especially the Cheddar Bacon Fries."

"This place is AMAZING! As a burger-obsessed Brit, I find that just because this is the USA, a well-seasoned, quality burger is far from guaranteed. The Melt guarantees, and never disappoints. The BBQ Bacon Meltburger is about as close to burger heaven as I imagine it to be! Even though my wife does eat meat, she is obsessed with the Impossible Burger. The fries are perfectly seasoned and seriously tasty. Melty Mac is also great. In an area where so many places close before 10pm (and much earlier) the Melt and its partners at Local Kitchens have, I would guess, cornered the late-night market here in Mill Valley and the surrounding area by closing at 12am. This was desperately needed, so a massive thumbs up to you guys for this, and for your amazing food."

"The patty melt was terrible. The meat, whatever it was, was not what I expected. I thought I would get a hamburger patty, but instead, I received a cold, very dry piece of something that my two dogs wouldn't even touch. The cheese was extremely thin and didn't resemble a proper melt at all. Everything was served cold. Additionally, Dasher did not follow the instructions provided."
