"The food was so delicious and well-prepared. The service was impeccable; the entire staff was attentive, friendly, efficient, respectful and very kind. It was our anniversary and while we had indicated that on our Open Table reservation, we had not mentioned it when we were there. When they brought our dessert the words ‘Happy Anniversary’ were piped in chocolate on the plate along with a lit candle on the plate for us. Many other places we have gone to have via Open Table overlooked those details. Can’t wait to go again!"

"We were seated quickly and with politeness. The restaurant was pretty loud. The waitress seemed rushed, but was friendly. I wish she had mentioned the salad on the plate when I asked about the size. I didn't really need the extra vegetable. I ordered the grilled calamari and my friend got the fried calamari. Both were chewy and overdone. I probably should have sent mine back, but I was too hungry by the time it was served."

"Came here with my parents and sister. Everything about this restaurant is authentic. We had a beet salad, fried zucchini flowers, and octopus as an appetizer. The fried zucchini flowers were as good as any I have had. My gnocchetti in a pork ragù were excellent. My father's orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe were fantastic, particularly the sausage. My sister's rigatoni had less ricotta and more eggplant than she expected, but the sauce was great. My mother was not as impressed with her penne in a pesto, with shrimp and mushrooms as the shrimp was nothing special. I thought the texture of the pastas was good, with the best being the gnocchetti and orecchiette. We also had a tartufo and a torta caprese. I thought the tartufo was delicious. This is a high quality restaurant."

"Patsy’s is go-to for us, and has been for several years. The restaurant is very comfortable. There always seems to be space. The servers have been consistently pleasant and thoughtful. The food is very good, with a menu occasionally changing, but staying true to an authentic NYC pizza as good as any, better than many, and distinctive (we also eat pizza at Osteria Cotta, which is different). We’ve eaten the chicken parmigiana and the chicken Marsala, which are both very good. The wines are fine. We’ll go again. "We celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday at Delfina. From the time I made the reservation to the time we left, the staff was friendly and helpful. We did have to wait about 15 minutes before our table was ready and it's a small space so there wasn't anywhere to hang out which was unfortunate, but it didn't mar our evening. We were a larger group and ordered many different dishes. Our server was patient and did a great job of staggering our dishes. The tortellini stuffed with squash and sage with brown butter was excellent. Also the rage was popular. We had two vegans in the group and they thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash and the butter beans. Calamari was grilled to perfection served on a bed of small white.beans. We brought our own wine and the staff was wonderful about taking it upon arrival and serving it as needed. We also had a cake that they brought out with candles at the end of the meal. All in all, I highly recommend Delfina. It's the perfect mix of casual atmosphere with knowledgeable staff and excellent rustic Italian food."

"Ate here with my friend who has celiac disease because of the gluten free section of the menu and the reviews saying the GF pasta is good. Unfortunately, she must have been served pasta with gluten because she was sick all night after the meal. When I called the restaurant to discuss it, the person I spoke to asked why we didn't tell them it was not GF when it arrived and hung up on me when I told him we didn't know just by looking at it. I will be calling tomorrow to speak to the manager and would recommend caution for anyone with allergies or health-related dietary restrictions."

"We came to NYC for a vacation with our two teens. We wanted a nice night out, good food and not to spend a fortune. Found this place on Open Table. It’s quaint and welcoming with excellent food and service. The fresh pasta was so good! All four of us were so happy with our dishes. Our daughter is vegetarian and the options for her were plentiful. We had a fantastic time. The food was fresh with quality ingredients and the service was amazing, very attentive. Highly recommend. Their rosemary old fashioned was a unique twist on a classic and so good!"

"Highly recommend this place. The handmade Pasta was delicious as well as well as their calamari appetizer. Make sure you save space for dessert and try their tiramisu, it is SO GOOD! The one thing I tried that I did not like was their cannolis but the individual taking care of us (I’m assuming was the restaurant owner) took it off our check. He also provided excellent service and took the time to answer all our questions and explain how the dishes were prepared. Also, unlike most restaurants in this area, the food was not overpriced. If you are in this area, this is a must visit place."

"Always good food with nice presentation. We dined outside on a comfortable early summer evening. We started with an order of mussels (not as spicy as portrayed and very good) and the spinach salad with fried oysters--all excellent. Main courses of the pork chop and duck were well prepared. The swiss chard with tiny bacon bits with the duck was a nice change. The cherry compote was a bit overwhelming. Tried the Bonarda red wine (usually aged in stainless steel so it lacked the smooth fruity taste) but reverted to a reliable Malbec. Had a server in training who did a good job; her mentor didn't smile much which was disappointing. Overall an enjoyable meal."

"Wonderful atmosphere and wonderful food my favorite restaurant in Atlantic City, I usually get the Bronzino which is baked in sea salt, and it's cracked open at the table and deboned table side but tonight we wanted something different and our very helpful waitress Michelle suggested we try the polpo octopus and it was the best I’ve ever had, we then took her suggestion on the baccala while my wife enjoyed a very tender filet mignon both which were superb and cooked to perfection, please don’t forget to try the Brussels they were phenomenal!! Thank you girosole and a great thank you to Michelle you made our dining experience a pleasure. The last time we enjoyed a dinner like this we were in Sorrento."

"My friend recently moved to a retirement community nearby, and her son made a reservation for us at this restaurant. We had a wonderful visit, with a pleasant, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. The wait staff were attentive, informative, and always available. We ended up staying for a couple of hours before leaving. When we got home, the restaurant called to let us know that they found a purse left behind, which turned out to be mine. Despite being back in North Hollywood, I waited until they opened on Sunday to retrieve my wallet. Everything was in good order, and I truly appreciate the effort of the staff. Their kindness and attentiveness made my visit even more memorable. The food was excellent, and the quality of the staff was top-notch. Thank you for a great experience."

"I have eaten twice at this restaurant in the past few months. All in all, it's pretty good. This place has an upscale vibe, and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I and my dining companions haven't been too adventurous with the menu (sticking with thin-crust pizza and salad on both occasions), but all of us liked our food and the wines by the glass as well. The restaurant is attractive and very close to the bay. My only complaint is that the background music (on both occasions) was unnecessarily loud and the selection of music is unusually boisterous. I'm not sure why dance-oriented music needs to be blasting in an Italian-oriented restaurant (although the server courteously lowered the volume after I asked him to). If they played light jazz (or some other lower-key music) at a lower volume in the background, this place would project a much more professional ambiance to me."
