"Unfortunately the food was just not up to par. Started with some bread then a wedge salad and calamari. Ordered gnocchi with sausage. Gnocchi was served with a cream sauce but we were expecting a traditional red, maybe my fault for not reading the menu. Sausage was a cut up link and way over cooked. It was hard in some spots, horrible. We sent it back and asked for gnocchi with red sauce no sausage. It came out within a few minutes later, but I swear the red sauce tasted like it came from a can a spaghetti-o’s. Like exactly like canned spaghetti-o’s. Wondering who they paid to strain out the o’s. Also ordered veal scapoline and the veal was three pieces of meat, paper-thin, 2x3 inches. Desert was good and so was the wedge salad. Ambience was darkish romantic but is an open area with tables about 4 feet apart. Was hoping for better but unfortunately this was a total disaster."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We have expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"what a nice opportunity to spend a cold damp Thursday night. we sat at her beautiful bar for cocktails. geo makes a fantastic classic vodka gimlet. we tasted some red wines before we decide to dinner. unastated bottle was decanted and waited for us to taste the table. so many wonderful options on the menu that we decided to create a tapas style dinner. we started with the antipasto, salmon carpaccio, garnel filled with crab meat packed in pancetta. a large portobello mushroom with aubergines. was a lot to share for both of us. our last dish was a rigatoni with rapini and garnel. I finished my meal with a de caffe double espresso, and my table mothered a lemon tea. the food was fantastic, service on point and I look forward to another unforgettable dinner in casa giuseppe in the near future."

"First visit… food was wonderful, lasagna and pumpkin ravioli were excellent! Drinks were also good, lemon basil martini… yummy! Only criticism really is that we prefer seating be more private for conversation-not a fan of sitting so close to other diners. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back as well as recommend to others!!"

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"We really enjoyed our first dinner inside of a restaurant in months. The waiter was friendly and helpful, attentive but didn’t hover. All the food was delicious. The grilled octopus followed by grilled scallops with linguine were all perfect. My husband loved the spaghetti carbonara. The desserts were also perfect. Altogether a great dining experience"

"It's almost unfair to rate this place at all, since we never even made it inside to eat, but the vibe and first impressions were so incredibly negative and oppressive, that I feel obligated to say something. We arrived at the restaurant, with a dinner reservation, on a Saturday night, about minutes early. I was told that our table wouldn't be ready until and were invited to sit at the bar. We opted not to and you have no idea how glad we are that we didn't. By the time we returned, their teeny tiny bar was SO EXTREMELY CROWDED, that we literally had to fight our way through to check in with the host. This time, he said that our table would be ready in a few minutes. We waited for minutes, ducking waiters, watching the manager negotiate with an irate customer who wanted a "very specific" table, and staring at the host who was as friendly and approachable as a piece of toast. The energy in the room was so loud and frenetic, that I couldn't imagine any semblance of an enjoyable dining experience. Indeed, the more we waited, the more we wanted to leave. Not pleasant. Maybe the food is good, but I'll never go back. No way, no how"

"After recently moving to Red Bank, a few friends and I stopped by Via Sposito for the first time last night. We loved it! The atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable, and it is somewhere you can dress fancy or dress casual. Our server, Marina, was extremely kind and helpful with everything we needed. The other staff we interacted with was very kind as well. For appetizers, we had the clams, sausage scarpariello, rice balls, and mozzarella in carozza. For entrees, we had the chicken parmigiana, linguine with clams, pork chop, and gnocchi. For dessert (which we were totally stuffed by), we had the tartufo. They also made it special for the birthday we were celebrating. Everything was excellent! We also really enjoyed that this restaurant is BYOB, but they have options you can purchase by the bottle. We will definitely be back!"

"FYI: the name of the restaurant is misleading. They do not serve Mediterranean food. I thought that was what I was getting. The girls and I got together and went to this restaurant. When we arrived I noticed it was inside of a hotel. We walked in, to see tables set in what seems like a lobby area with a piano player. We went to the hostess and she sat us in the restaurant area by the kitchen. Jocelyn was our server and she was nice but she was very rushed for some reason. She seemed easily overwhelmed. We started with drinks and they had some wines half off and I shared it with one of the girls. The other girls got cocktails because the wine they wanted wasn't half off. For my entrée I got the salmon pasta special. When the food came out it looked great. I dug in and it was a little bland. I had to put a lot of salt and pepper so I could enjoy more. The girls said their meals were good but one said it was bland also. The bill was very reasonable. All in all I had an ok time."

"We went to Little Italy for a genuine Italian meal. What a mistake !Complete waste of money ,the food ,the service and atmosphere dreadful BUT We went to Ill Tinello by accident after biking thru Central Park The only guests not in suits and ties Welcomed graciously by the Maitre de Service ,food and atmosphere 7 star all the way We did not want to leave Perhaps the only place in my travels where I felt I under tipped (although it was the biggest tip I have ever given I will go back there in a heartbeat"
"Used to go there all the time when I lived in the area and it's been about 20 years. Went back the other night and I never thought I would say this about something that didn't have meat in it but they're marinara sauce is the absolute best I've ever had. Excellent and consistent service. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. A very rare, quaint, an excellent place to go have dinner. We explained food allergy and they were very cognizant of it and explained in detail what we were getting."

"The pizza looked appealing, but if you don’t want to spend three minutes chewing a single bite, I recommend avoiding the Large 16” Pizza (8 slices). It was incredibly chewy, almost like gum. The flavor was mediocre; the tomato sauce and pepperoni tasted like they were from a grocery store. The Alfredo side pasta was bland and seemed like it was just pre-heated and then put in the oven. The garlic rolls were another chewy, oily disappointment with no flavor. The only item with some taste was the 10 chicken wings, but even they were too much for me to finish."

"Tucci, I can not say enough about how great this place is. Here is what I love….I love that they have some of the best food in Oregon. They do so without making you feel like it’s a snobby joint or stuffy atmosphere. It’s cozy, feels like home. From the warm welcome you get at the door, you can select the bar area, where classic black and white movies play on the Tv. Or sit in the main dining area and get a glimpse of the chefs creating your meal. Or, like we did this weekend, sit on the patio under the trees and lights. We recommend the Meatballs, the risotto fritters, the Caprese with heirloom tomatoes! Wow! And I’m just talking about the shareable items! Oh don’t forget to order the Diablo for an adult beverage! Go see them, make a reservation and grab your significant other, your friends, co workers or just go solo and experience what the perfect amount of food, flavor and hospitality truly is. Heck, they have a happy hour even!! Stop it now!"

"The food at Via Sposito does not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. We ordered fried calamari and rice balls for appetizers- both were delicious. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 chicken parm dinners and two linguine and white clams sauce. All the dinners were great. The clams were nice and large. The one complaint that we have about this restaurant is that it is very loud. The acoustics are not good and they had music piped in that was too loud. It makes it difficult to have a conversation at the table without screaming at each other. It is the one reason we don't go here more often."
