"These two weeks, Eataly is doing a promotion that it costs about $26 for a 2 course meal. So my Italian girlfriend and I decided to try it out, however it was extremely disappointing…?One of the most iconic dish in Italy, Bruschetta, was served with half a toast and some ricotta cheese with a little of honey drizzle… completely different from what bruschetta is.We also order arancini, which is another iconic Italian food. It only came with two fried balls. Inside, it is not stuffed, it was simply just a fried risotto ball with some peas, which has minimal flavor and cheese. It comes with no sauce.Salad was very simple, anyone who knows how to chop can make it, nothing fancy, portion is small.Pizza was a bit better and authentic, not too bad, but it costed EXTRA $8The fettuccine pasta, costed extra $10. They were supposed to cook the pasta hot, place it in a wheel of parmigiano reggiano cheese, let the cheese melt and mix it with the pasta, and then serve on the plate in front of you. Initially the server did it with another customer by mistake, and then she just handed the pasta to us. It was already cold/warm by the time it was handed to us. We talked to the server about how the pasta wasn’t hot and we missed the show, they just use the same plate of pasta, which we had eaton and tried, into the same wheel of cheese and did it in front of us. By the time it was on the plate in front of us, it was cold, not even warm. The flavor was there but it’s a plate of cold pasta.Overall, I paid about $100 for 2 people. A lot of items require you to pay extra. The portion is small. Quality isn’t great. I could have a lot nicer Italian food somewhere else. Eataly gave me a fast food vibe, but just the environment is a bit nicer, pretend to be a fine dining restaurant.As a foodie who loves and knows Italian food, I will NOT come back and I advise people NOT to go there. There are a lot of other nicer Italian restaurants, including Piano Piano, Trattoria Neevosa, Tosto… that serve really good Italian food that worth the money you spent."

"The steak and pasta weren't great. Maybe it's just me and Italian wooden-grilled steak tastes a but burnt on the outside but I wasn't impressed. The servers are AMAZING. In terms of staff this is the BEST place. Also the deserts were absolutely mind-blowing. The tiramisu and terra were just other-worldly tasty. Finally, it's pretty expensive. If steak was great for the price this would've been 5 stars. A dinner for 2 can easily get to ≈$120-140 if you have 3 courses and a cocktail. Overall, mixed feelings. Great place and vibe. Very attentive staff. Food could've been better for price for sure."

"It is disappointing that getting additional drinks after our meal is always a challenge. We are usually only served one drink before our meal and maybe one when the meal is served. If we want anything further, we have to flag down wait staff, often not our assigned wait staff, to get their attention. It seems like there is an unspoken two drink maximum policy. This has happened on more than one occasion with different wait staff, which I find odd. Despite this, we enjoy the place and the food."

"the food was very delicious, the person who took care of us was great and nice but the hostess wasn't as nice. She offered us one table which was in the middle of traffic when she could have suggested options. Thankfully, a table freed up and we moved with the blessing of a different host. But overall the restaurant is great"

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. I recently dined here with my family, and we were impressed by the wide variety of options available for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The meals were delicious and quite filling. While the prices are on the higher side—we spent over $200 for a three-course meal—it's worth it for the experience. The restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine and boasts an extensive selection of wines. It can get quite busy; we had to wait 40 minutes for a table, but the staff was attentive and efficient. Overall, it’s a fantastic restaurant, and I would definitely return in the future."

"One's first impression is this is not a dine-in restaurant. Inside, we were led to a small isle of about six tables along street facing windows. We were seated at one of those, a scarred wooden table and wooden chairs with cracked plastic seat cushions. While waiting for a fourth guest to arrive, we ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. The wine list was minimal, but I chose what appeared to be their best offering, a Brunello di Montalcino from an unfamiliar producer. Our server first brought a wrong bottle, not the Brunello, and went back for the correct one. When she inserted her waiter's corkscrew, the cork immediately began to crumble, not a sign of good storage. She left with the bottle, presumably to get a different one, but another employee returned with the same bottle, apparently having more expertise with opening wine bottles. I expressed concern about the dry cork and asked if the bottle had been stored upright instead of on its side? She said all their wines were stored upright! I said to go ahead and see if the cork could be removed without crumbling into the wine, and I would taste it to determine if it was still good. Fortunately, the rest of the cork was removed and appeared to have maintained a secure seal between the wine and air. There was no off taint on the nose and it tasted free of oxidation- OK to drink. Our calamari appetizer arrived and we were pleasantly surprised after our initial impressions. The calamari rings were lightly breaded, perfectly prepared and served with a very flavorful and nicely spiced dipping sauce. Our fourth guest arrived and we ordered our entrees. We had never received a bread basket, which was finally noticed by another employee. Three of us had different pasta dishes and the fourth chose salmon with vegetables. Those of us with pasta, all enjoyed our meals; but my other guest thought her salmon was too bland. Bottom line: Food was good, service was poor, and not for wine lovers."

"We had a great experience at Yum Yum! My family and I visited on a Sunday afternoon, right after a church brunch. The restaurant had a self-service style, which was a pleasant surprise. Customers would seat themselves and then go up to the counter to order. After placing their order, they would receive a number and have their food brought to them. The food came out quickly and was well worth the wait. We ordered chilaquiles, a breakfast burrito, and pancakes for our child. The chilaquiles were flavorful and fresh, the burrito was massive and loaded with delicious fillings, and the spiced potatoes on the side were delightful. Our daughter especially enjoyed the fluffy pancakes. Overall, Stratford was a fantastic spot to enjoy a tasty and peaceful breakfast/brunch by the harbor with friends. We are looking forward to returning in the future."

"Nice restaurant. Very trendy. Food was mediocre for the price. Had the beef rib for 86$ and piece of meat would have been 5 ounces max. Sides (other than max n cheese) tasted like they were pre made and not made at the restaurant. My Partners Salmon was very good."

"Our waitress was phenomenal!!! So attentive, friendly, with good recommendations. It?s located next to (inside a beautiful hotel. Bathrooms were spotless. And most importantly, the food, the food was exquisite, especially brussel sprouts (I have a thing for brussel sprouts ???? . I highly recommend this place!"

"This place is a for sure keeper. Some of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. Our server recommended that we talk with the wine steward to make our selection for a wine to pare with our meals. It turned out perfect. Started with the Tomini (Baked Goat cheese), shared a Mixed Greens salad, my wife ordered the Papardelle al Cinghiale with the Wild Boar and I had the Maltagliati with Ndujia Spicy Sausage. All the dishes were very well prepared and specialty pastas were perfect. We selected out side seating which was perfect, a little background music and were able to hold a conversation with out having to shalt. Service was very good and timing of servings was right on. Will definitely return soon..."

"enjoyed eating (lamb was a little salty, but otherwise delicious.) are generous, drinks okay. the passion fruit mojito I had a small gland cost and watered down. the service was good, even if it was a lively silvester. my only complicity is that they don't have the table I reserved, and we had to wait 30 minutes until one could open. I assume one of the vagrants of NYE food. I would be happy to come back in a regular night and try some of the other foods. my favorite thing was the minenstrone suppe."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. "I randomly stopped in at this restaurant for a late night dinner at the bar and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and service! I decided to order the fettuccine Alfredo, which is one of my favorite dishes, and it was one of the best I've had in recent years. The bartender, Agustin, was attentive and engaging, despite me dining alone and being from out of town. He even made me a delicious espresso martini for dessert, adjusting it to my preference for cognac instead of the suggested vanilla Absolut. I highly recommend the food and service at this place and I will definitely be returning!"

"We sat upstairs to be warm and get good service. Our waitress was excellent. She was a young woman who was very friendly and didn’t give up even though we weren’t ready the first three times she came by to take our order. Food was ok- first time ordering pizzas which are ok, because pizzas are pizza. My daughter ordered the steak and loved it. My salad was overdressed and the clams I ordered were too spicy or salty and also several, like 5-6, had not opened up. Also, they’re was too much raw garlic. I’ve had better meals there..all highly dependent on what you order. Will stick to a pasta dish or a fish next time."

"My husband and I went to DC Pasta for the first time on our Anniversary. It was a weekday night so the restaurant was not overcrowded or noisy. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! The salad was crisp and interesting and my eggplant parmesan tasted like eggplant; not just breading. My husband enjoyed the pasta with meat sauce. The bread was homemade and we liked that too. We were treated with a complimentary limoncello after dinner which was also made right there at the restaurant. We are so glad to have found this restaurant which is so close to our home!"
