"Had a real bad experience last week. I'm a regular who visits most Sundays for football. Last week was New Years Day, and they were understaffed (understandable), and there was a morning rush due to the Dolphin Dip that morning. When I got there, they couldn't handle demand, so wouldn't let anyone sit, even though half the restaurant had available seating (again, they were short staffed, so they were trying to control the demand). In the dining half of the restaurant, all the TV's were on, but half the TV's were not on NFL games. My team was not being shown. I ended up missing the first quarter of my game because they wouldn't turn one of the TV's onto my game, and wouldn't let me sit in the half empty room. I would have been content watching my game without service, and walking up to the bar to get my own drinks and waiting until they caught up before they came to the table to service me, rather than waiting until mid-second quarter to see my game. Disappointing. I'll be watching the next few weeks from a different restaurant/bar and see if they know how to service a regular patron any better. They deserved zero stars for this visit...as someone who owned restaurants in the past, I don't like to overrate, one way or the other, so I gave them 2 stars as a little recognition that they served a need for me the past 3 years. Decided to give them.a chance again this year. Equally disappointing. As an Eagles fan, I was hoping to have a TV to watch. The only screen with the Eagles was the one by the ladies bathroom/kitchen, a table of 2 which was occupied. Half the restaurant had other TV's with games playing and nobody watching. The Colts had zero people on that TV (with multiple empty tables around it. It's not like the Eagles aren't one of the more attended teams, is it? SMH. If you're an Eagles fan, go to Cowfin. They show them."

"Dropped in here because my coworker gravitates towards Irish pubs and Guinness beer which he saw a sign for. We sat in the bar area and within 5 minutes we were greeted and drink orders taken. A bit of a delay for the drinks was due to the bartender is what we were told. Ya know because Tuesday nights when it 's cool out is a busy time for this place. Anyway. They had a few beers on tap but not a whole lot of selection. A Guinness was ordered by my coworker and I had a Smithwicks draught. We put our food orders in and those eventually came out. In the meantime we entertained ourselves by reading about the history of the building and telling stories. One in my party wandered up to the 'hall of heros ' a tribute to those that have served on the second floor. This place claims to be very Military friendly. How? More on that later. Our food came out and my Shepard 's pie was almost cold. I asked around the table and all 5 of us said something to the effect of their food was definitely not hot. The sandwich (corn beef? of my co-workers was soggy. There was 5 of us and we had to work early the next day so none of us sent our food back. I thought about it but after 15 minutes of waiting for the waitress to come back I got frustrated and just went for it. My coworker mentioned his pour of Guinness was mediocre at best. I 'm not sure how it works but he said it was a single pour and not a double? I don 't know about this. Another note about my meal was the portion size was very small for the price. Not that I 'm snooty or anything, but the presentation was not good to boot. It was just a small plate that should have been put on a second plate with some sides. Oh.. I 'm a veteran they claim to be all Military friendly... We 'll, what business isn 't? I wasn 't kicked out but I surely wasn 't given preferred treatment and no mil discount either... Active, retired... Whatever. So they let some guys put stickers on some of their doors and maybe wall somewhere. I guess that 's Military friendly. I won 't be back. I 'm not sure how this place stays in business let alone be among the best Irish bars in the country or whatever that 's all about. I don 't give out one stars frequently but they earned it. If you want an okay cold beer (limited draught choices compared to the area small portions and lukewarm food. Kevin Berry 's is your place!"
