"BJ offers prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 pm, and all day Sunday. For $35, you get a generous 15 oz cut along with a choice of soup or salad, two sides, and a pizookie. I requested my meat to be cooked medium rare and chose a green salad, baked potato, and pencil asparagus for my sides. The salad was more than I expected in size and was fresh and tasty. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and showcased those classic flavors beautifully. However, I felt the au jus and creamy horseradish could have used a little more pizzazz.
I had to remind myself to save room for dessert, so I went for the brownie sundae pizookie. It was a warm brownie pizookie topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream—absolutely delicious and decadently sweet! That brownie was fantastic.
My husband ordered a mini pepperoni pizza. It was pan-baked, giving it a buttery, flaky crust, and he enjoyed it. However, he found it a bit overpriced for its size, as it was kid-sized (though not from the kids' menu) and cost almost $16.
Our server, Lucas, was exceptional—very attentive and had a great attitude. He was training another server, Jordan, and both did a great job. It’s worth noting that the restaurant seemed understaffed, as they struggled to seat everyone promptly, despite having plenty of available tables. However, it's encouraging to see they are training new staff."
