"I am so mad at myself. Once again, I have discovered an outstanding restaurant, that was only 2.3 miles from my house, after I have moved out of STL. If I had eaten here while I lived in STL, I would have been a regular.A friends band was playing at Colombo 's, so that is how I discovered them this past Saturday. We got there early to get our band groupie table. When I saw their extensive craft beer list, I knew it was a cold beer night. I was impressed with the local selection of brews that also included regional and statewide breweries.I was torn between a burger and wings. So, I went to Yelp and checked out the pictures, to help me decide. Wings was the winner and it truly was a, Winner, Winner, Wing Dinner. Actually, these were some of the best wings I 've had in a longtime. There was no breading, the skin was crispy and the hot sauce was spot on. It had just the right amount of heat and wasn 't too messy.The ambiance is casual and very relaxing. There was only one waitress and she was hustling and doing an amazing job. The bar was packed and she remained very even keel. She was friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of.When I 'm over in STL running errands, I 'll be returning for more wings and to try one of their burgers."
