"The Place is extremely popular. Food is really good and the server was great. However, even with a reservation, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a seat. I definitely don't recommend trying to come without a reservation on a Friday. The noise level was extremely loud, and it was difficult to hear the staff speaking to us. There was someone playing music/singing. He was good, but we could only hear him while we were standing at the front, waiting for our table, because of the noise level in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, but I might try coming mid-week next time."

"I last reviewed Ferah Tex-Med a year ago. Much can change in a year and I thought it was time for a second review. We hd a friend coming to town and wanted to offer something different from the normal steaks, Tex-Mex and burgers, Ferah Tex-Med fit nicely with a Texas twist on traditional Mediterranean food and we could make a reservation on OpenTable. We started with the The Chef’s Sampler Platter and cocktails. The bartender mixologies has a few specialities and on this visit I tried the Forbidden Margarita it was very good and I liked the Pomegranate seeds in the drink. The Chef’s Sampler was enough to share for four people and a great way to sample many of the appetizers. All of the items were very good. Two in our party selected the Fresh Herbed Gnocchi pasta and the only complaint I hear was it was too much. Both took the leftovers home. I tried the Ferah 10 Spice Chicken, the chicken thigh was good and fork tender but the star was the Jalapeño Orzo, which had more of a kick then I anticipated. It was excellent. The only issue with the meal was we ordered too much food to save room for Turkish Coffee Creme Brûlée. This is our favorite dessert, really the only one we’ve tried. Some day we may get around to ordering another dessert, but we are going to have to pace ourselves. You can’t just talk about the food at a restaurant, many people are looking for atmosphere and service. Ferah’s has never disappointed on the atmosphere or the service and last night was no exception. You h=could have a conversation with out shouting even with the restaurant about 3 4 full in the main dining room. Unfortunately I can’t remember our servers name but they always seem to know when to stop by and check on us. One of these Sundays we will try the brunch but this is one of our goto places in Southlake."

"We ordered a drink a the bar , the bartender told us we must pay before we get our table , and they sit us right the way and the bill she gave me was $14.35 ,she asked me would you like change? I said yes I would. I gave her a $20.00 and she gave me back $5:00 , what happened with my $0.65 in change? It is not appropriate to rob the customer. Why would she give me a 5.00 bill knowing I did not intend to give her a 5 dollar tip. Now we get seated asked the waiter for a Ginger ale with my meal, also asked for my pasta on a separate plate. Pasta was not on separate plate, I ate my whole meal and no ginger ale arrived Many issues at your restaurant, and I still tip the waiter !"
