"This is a classic Italian restaurant. Tastefully decorated, attentive staff, wonderful choices for lunch/dinner. They boast their Lasagna and with food reason; it was fantastic. We met old friends there and probably spent more time than we should have taking up a booth, but the staff didn't seem to mind. Recommend for a good old home cooked meal feeling. "We arrived at the height of dinner rush, and the restaurant was bustling, but somehow we were seated within just 10 minutes. With so many options on the menu, it took us a little while to decide what to order. My boyfriend chose the Pizza Bolloco, while my friend went for the Lasagna Bolloco, both featuring the famous New Mexico green chiles. I opted for a classic Mediterranean dish, the Linguine Provençale. Everything was exceptional—the food, the service, and the prices! We were so glad to discover this gem during our travels!"

"This place absolutely has the best pizza and pasta my wife and I have had. I had the baked mostaccioli which was just amazing with plenty of cheese and pasta. My wife had the eggplant parmesan which was also terrific. Portions were large and the service by our waitress April was great. Our friends dining with us had the pizza which they said was outstanding. This is definitely a place you need to visit. Food: 5"

"Was at a seminar held here dinner provided after. Very disappointed in food service. They served, very slowly, salad, steaks, broccoli baked potato. You weren't asked how you wanted steak cooked, mine was well done. It was chewy flavor waslost due to being overcooked. The broccoli was hard as a rock almost impossible to eat. The potato salad were the best thingserved. The biggest disappointment was the bread. Now this is an Italian restaurant you would think they would have deliciouswarm fresh bread. We were served sliced bread that looked like they opened a bag of sliced bread put it in a basket served.It was cold had to ask for butter. Don't think I will go back, definitely not as a paying customer. Too many other deliciousItalian restaurants in St. Louis!"

"Just left Eastgate Cafe, and will never be going back. Was seated after a short wait and ordered an appetizer with one drink for my wife. In less than 5 minutes our fried calamari came out, giving the heavy impression of being frozen only moments before. My wife never got her drink, and we sat for almost half an hour without sight of an employee.
