"Fantastic Service! Delicious sushi! My husband and I are regular visitors, often dining here once a week. It makes for a wonderful date night since we can always secure a table, enjoy flavorful dishes, and be back home faster than we would waiting for a table at nearly any other place on Lincoln Avenue on a Friday or Saturday night. I particularly appreciate the slight differences in preparation at this location compared to the one in Japantown. Our recommendations include: the Japantown roll, Super Spicy Bakudan, Singapore roll, Hanabi roll, Yam Yam, as well as the tuna and salmon sashimi— all are excellent! For those less adventurous or for kids, the chicken teriyaki dinners are also quite tasty."

"OMG! I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. This is the best sushi that I have ever had in my life and I'm not a youngster. I had the seafood soup for an appetizer and it was just perfect so delicious! What I wanted (Chef's Choice Sushi) was not on the menu so I simply asked for it. In return, I was rewarded with eight pieces of, as I have already said, the most delicious sushi I have ever had in my life. I thanked the chefs multiple times before leaving. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you let the chef decide you will not be disappointed. The prices are more than reasonable for the high quality of food. I was immensely satisfied."

"I'll keep this short sweet. I was a first time with my friend this restaurant was excellent! I reserved a window table with a scenic view (until the sun naturally went down) we were something isolated, which was beautiful. everything was delicious. I will not come into the details of each individual teller, but I will tell them what we have eaten. we had the following: duck (breast starter), chicken nanban (hot starter), spider roll, shrimp roll, ahi katsu roll, mini udon, green salad w/sesame dressing, sundae, lady killer cocktail, a delicious pfirsich drink (I cannot remember the names). I would highly recommend all the items I just listed if they never tried them, I would definitely order all these items in the future. service was top notch although it is not super busy for a sat night. our server was Seiya he did an excellent job! he was very informative about recommended in the menu in the location to answer all the questions we had. I would also like to mention that all his assistants have done an excellent work (sufficient dirty dishes, refill water, serve food/drinks, etc). everyone who has not eaten here should make a reservation soon they make their bauch happy!"

"I experienced extremely long wait times at this restaurant, and the tables were cramped with no space to move. Unfortunately, the salad bowl I received was filled with water. We had a new cook who prepared everything quickly but didn't check for any food allergies, which was concerning. The chicken was undercooked, and when I spoke to the manager about it, he was unhelpful. He suggested that if we didn't want the meat, we would have to pay separately for all the sides, which ended up costing more than the meals themselves. The steak was also undercooked, and the chef diced it up too early, so the sides didn't have a chance to get properly browned. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning. I've spent too much money over the years to not receive proper accommodations, especially when they made a mistake."

"Good food with attentive service! Their soba was definitely tasty! The vegetables soba I ordered got a little sweetness and the noodle was flavorful. The grilled meats and mushrooms were nicely priced with a wide range of taste. Their beef tongue was especially good. I don’t like their tuna tartar as it tasted not very fresh to me though my friend liked it a lot. Overall a very good Japanese restaurant with good price. Remember to make reservations or arrive early on Friday night. It is packed!"

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I've never been more disrespected with my family at a high end food establishment than I was today.... I was told the way they cook it is the way they do it… I asked for no onions I got extra onions… I proceeded to put my napkin over my plate as if I didn't want anything.. the cook proceeded to remove napkin and continue to serve me.... "Their sake was delicious. I’ll try to remember which one it was. Their egg was extremely soft and tender. It was great with the soy sauce poured, grinned up radish. The cold soba was good The hot soba was good too. I did expect it to get soggy over time but it was still good. Along with the mushrooms."
