"This is a real success story. It started in a modest one unit space then expanded into a full restaurant without the usual pitfalls of loosing quality to get volume. The food is very good and the help is considerate and attentive. I was asked several times how it was going by someone besides my server. All this is not without cost and to be honest it 's on the high side for this type of cuisine but not to the point I felt taken advantage of. The trite expression holds true here you get what you pay for Imho spend some extra cash and try this place for yourself."

"This charming, authentic Mexican restaurant is truly a local treasure. It’s very popular and can get busy, but we only had to wait a reasonable amount of time for a table for our party of seven. The dining area is a bit small given the number of guests it attracts, but it adds to the cozy atmosphere. The chairs are custom-designed for the restaurant; they’re comfortable and sturdy, although a bit heavy, which contributes to their durability. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the salsa had an impressive kick! The service was friendly and welcoming. The parking situation was somewhat chaotic, with faded lines and cars parked rather randomly. Nevertheless, this restaurant is a superb choice for anyone looking for delicious Mexican food."

"appendage as ironic this was back after the Kovid edition and tried the steak burrito suizo and must admit it was very delicious. crisp outer shell soft inner shell and not all greasy with over boiled meat. they have added the fries to the menu (can I just want to know) instead of the rice and roasted beef, have a try. fries the week his fries lol. staff at the bar always friendly and attentive. I raised my criticism when I felt the meat had a little more taste than the last time that I was here my friend had the regular burrito and had no complaining, but he will eat everything...snort 020120 I tried to see this place again after many years what I thought. it's a chain and another place in palatine I didn't know about. this place is located in a strange location, a stripe shopping center behind a mobile tank and an arby’s, so I am sure that many people do not see it because of lack of signage and lighting in the night. the parking space is not huge and a bit risky with arby’s car-dru traffic and the whole stripe-mask only illuminated by the open shops in front windows. and the entrance can be tricky to find. the restaurant has actually increased less than a year ago and now has a dining area and a bar. the part was lighting inside, much too bright, the necessary to put soft white lamps. we had a good idea, a escape free with the purchase of one with two drinks the personal was very friendly and we were served quite fast, they start them with chips and salsa, if they asked themselves my friend has the tacos you see on the photos, and he thought they were good. I got the chimichanga dinner and it was okay, I personally thought it was missing in taste especially in the meat department, it had more of a brewed taste and very little cheese. I also thought the chimichanga was a tough fat and the bowl had no crunching and was soggy. . I was unfortunately not interested in the buzzing myself that they had no taste, I am in the fan of the buzzing or black. the rice was delicious. the meal was not terrible and because of the good certificate made it better, but unfortunately I feel the prices are a tad high for the food and atmosphere her experience."

"Two of our three meals arrived, but we had to ask for utensils and napkins because they weren’t provided. The third plate took an additional five minutes to arrive, and we still didn't have utensils. Our server never checked on us or refilled our drinks, and I had to flag him down to get the check and a takeout box. For context, there were only three other tables with two people each, along with ours. Overall, dinner took over an hour and a half. On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant—well-lit, modern, tastefully decorated, and clean. It’s an upscale establishment with higher prices, but they serve huge portions, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired."

"I have to say, finding an excellent Mexican restaurant in the suburbs can be quite challenging, but I’ve finally discovered my new favorite place. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but there’s plenty of parking available. The menu offers a wide range of food and drink options. We were greeted with a complimentary soup that was simple yet incredibly delicious! The drinks were also served in generous portions and tasted great. I ordered the enchiladas suizas, and they were amazing, especially considering the price. My partner had the torta de asada, and she absolutely loved it. I also noticed they have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied with my experience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I have passed this place many times but today was my first time trying and my expectations were definitely surpassed. Anyone can use the word authentic to describe their restaurant but these guys are the real deal! Atmosphere, furniture+decor, and food are all inspired. We tried birria and barbacoa tacos and they were out of this world delicious best tacos I 've ever had. Will definitely be back; service was prompt, staff was friendly, and charming location. "Very very good! Probably now the best in Decatur! Was very happy and satisfied. Food quality was great. Presentation and the extras on the plate are wonderful. The taste of food.... fantastic! Seasoned so well. Actually flavorful ... unlike all the other Mexican places in Decatur .. they 're all so bland and afraid to season and spice things up. This place has the best salsa by far! I had the Street Tacos and a bean soup and wow! Amazing! Great job and I can 't wait to go back."

"I finally took the time to write this review! I took my mom to this restaurant for her 68th birthday in September, and she absolutely loved it. We visited on a Saturday afternoon when it wasn't too crowded. The chips and salsa appetizer, along with the margaritas we ordered, were delicious. The bartender, Angel, even stopped by our table to thank us for our compliments and prepared a special house mix for my mom to take home. Our server, Martin, was friendly and laid-back, and the entire staff was fantastic. Our main dishes were flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. When we mentioned we were celebrating my mom's birthday while placing our orders, they surprised her with a mariachi-style happy birthday song that truly made her night. She can’t stop raving about how much she enjoyed the experience and is already looking forward to going back. With her favorite food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service, we have no complaints at all."

I told the lady on the phone vegetarian fajita plate with corn tortillas and black beans.Lady on Phone: Vegetable burrito?Me: No, vegetarian fajita plate, with corn tortillas and black beans.Lady: Oh okay. "Excellent food. Everything is fresh, well seasoned and perfectly paired to order. The staff is pleasant, polite and accommodating, without being "beautiful". The atmosphere is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. Not really a 'romantic' friendly setting, but perfect for an afternoon together or casual dinner. The restaurant is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The margaritas are amazing and it is worth stopping only for those. The food is slightly expensive for Mexicans, but the quality and portion is there, so it is worth the money. Best Mexican restaurant in both valleys. Very recommended"

"The waitress was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the appetizer, Taquito Biss, lacked flavor and I wouldn't order it again. However, the main course was flavorful and had a generous portion. The dessert was delicious, especially with the vanilla ice cream. I had to give a 4-star rating because the temperature in the seating area was uncomfortably cold; I was freezing even with my coat on, which made it hard to enjoy the meal."

"I used to like this place, but I just got royally ripped off with takeout. The veggie fiesta was soggy and cold, with some beans just poured out of a can. The cheese enchilada wasn 't even folded all the way and contained a thin layer of cheap, half-congealed stuff. The one with spinach was wet through and tasteless. I got an avocado salad, which had two small pieces of avocado and the rest was cafeteria-grade tomato, cheese and mostly iceberg lettuce, with absolutely no spice or flavor, just a splat of sour cream dumped on the side. All of this for a pretty hefty price. This is no way to treat your customers!"

"The evening started off poorly with a rude host who informed me that they did not accept reservations. From that point on, things only got worse. The service was sluggish and frustrating. I wish I could share my experience of the meal, but my dinner never arrived, and our waiter was nowhere to be found. After a long wait, we finally received the bill, but my order was still missing. To top it off, I’ve reached out to the customer service team, and nearly a week later, I still haven't heard back from them."
