"I came here after all my fellow yelpers posted about the event that ended two days ago. Tucked away in a corner of a shopping plaza on Semoran and south wekiva road this hidden gem is a great dining option for a wide spread menu. We started with the carb lovers unite. The biscuits were warm(ish), similar to Cracker Barrel style, but the cinnamon maple butter was cold hard- breaking apart with every attempt to spread it on 5/10. The corn bread was a 2/10, it was dry and crumbled so much that you couldn't pick it up to bite it, literally you had to eat it with a spoon to prevent it from spilling everywhere. The pineapple spread tasted great. My sister had the chicken fried plate with onion straws and collard greens.... The chicken was good 8/10 as were the onion straws 7/10. The collard greens were a pass for all four of us at the table 0/10. They were microwave warm, tasted canned and lacked seasoning. I had the true love with meatloaf crumbles. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 15/10!!! My daughter had the Boozie Bread with turkey bacon and cheese eggs. The French toast was described as crispy and the eggs were meah. Scored a 6/10. The chicken pot pie wasn't the typical pot pie. It didn't have crust at all, just a biscuit on top of very tasty goulash, 7/10 Based off of our dining experience we skipped the desserts. The sweet tea was a good balance and not too sweet. I was satisfied with our trip as was my party. We would eat here again if we were in the area."

"We decided to try this restaurant for lunch with the family, and I must say, the mac and cheese balls were delightful! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully creamy on the inside, just as they should be."

"This is the sweetest bagel shop I've ever encountered! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting atmosphere. The cashier greeted us right away and was incredibly friendly and helpful. I opted for a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, while my companion chose a whole grain bagel with regular cream cheese. We visited for the first time on a Monday morning, and the bagels were incredibly fresh. They offered a fantastic selection of flavors, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend trying one of their various cream cheese flavors, as they seem homemade. You can't go wrong with any of their bagels! Next time, I'm looking forward to trying one of their egg sandwiches because they looked absolutely delicious. I suggest stopping by before work one morning to give this bagel shop a try!"

"This is one of my favorite food trucks ever because waffles plus gluten free, number one. But then their combos are absolutely off the charts delish, and all the servers have the best energy to top it off. I had a savory sandwich once, which wassomething like a Monte Cristo with goat cheese and arugula, and it was yummers, a perfectly crispy and tasty high end Sammy. Butprimarily what I go there for is a cross between the Coconana and Almond Joyous. This is banana, toasted almonds, chocolateganache and coconut whipped cream. Did I say, on a gulten-free waffle?!?!! Here are some visuals. They not only don't mindmeeting my special requests, but seem to rejoice in them. Oh so much ???? love for Smaaken. Finally they offer Blue Lotus Chaiwith your favorite milk and sweet or unsweet options. This truck sits in the Hawthorn Asylum, which is also my favorite foodtruck park, with a number of other excellent food trucks to make all groups happy and a great variety of seating options, manycovered and with gas heating to circle around."

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant twice. The first time, I tried the vegan club, and I found it pretty bland overall. The sauce was the only part that had any real flavor, which left me a bit disappointed. On my second order, I opted for the vegan pleasure, and that was much better! The vegan sausage and apples were delicious. However, I did find the waffles to be slightly unappetizing, and the sandwiches were smaller than I expected based on the pictures, so they might not be enough if you're very hungry. I was excited to see that both the chai and hot chocolate were vegan! I ordered the hot chocolate, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations, and I couldn't finish it. Additionally, the prices on DoorDash were surprisingly high. On their website, the sandwiches are priced at $8.00 to $9.50, but on DoorDash, they range from $12.00 to $14.25. I would definitely say it's not worth it at those prices!"

"My wife and I took our two kids to the restaurant, and they were really excited to play Giant Jenga. However, when we ordered, the waitress informed us that the Jenga game was only for those 21 and over, even though we were just playing with our kids. There was hardly anyone else in the restaurant at the time, which made it feel even more frustrating. If the place wants to position itself as family-friendly, they are missing the mark. We ended up leaving before placing our order. Maybe they should just put up a sign saying "No Children Allowed.""

"Wow, just blown away from the food here!!! Everything about Grindhaus was amazing and can't wait to come back and try more. We got the breakfast burrito (not on the menu but they do have it! and VLT (tempeh, lettuce, tomato . Both delicious. The breakfast burrito also had their signature marinated tempeh that legit tastes like bacon. Sooo smoky! Loved the dill in the burrito, it was different and I never would have thought to add dill to a tofu scramble, but it really works! The VLT was on local artisan bread and was perfect! Cold brew coffee was on point and they have a variety of non dairy milks. We went for the oat milk (chobani brand and it was so creamy! Also picked up a locally made biscotti. Perfection. They have a number of little tables outside for eating, socially distanced style. Just go in to order either way!"
