"My wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary. She ordered the scallops, I ordered the salmon. We both ordered lobster chowder for our appetizer. The lobster chowder was awesome! The scallops were nicely seared and tasty. The salmon was good although a bit overcooked I thought, perhaps this was the method of cooking that did it (wok). The rice, bok choy and other vegetables were nicely cooked and seasoned. For our dessert, our server recommended a flight of four small desserts. They were all wonderful and made it a perfect finish!"

"I recently discovered that one of my favorite breakfast spots, which I always visit when I'm in Oklahoma, has surprisingly opened a location in Alabama. At first, I thought it was a mistake on Google Maps since I've been to the OKC locations countless times. The biscuits at this new location are significantly better than those in Oklahoma, but they lack some popular menu items like sourdough toast and a few others found at the other locations. Overall, the food here doesn’t quite match the quality of the other places I frequent. The servers are friendly, but they could definitely be more attentive to their tables. While there’s room for improvement and it doesn't fully measure up to the other locations, it’s still a good place to eat, and I would definitely go back."

"This was our first time trying this restraunt chain. They had good sized portions for the amount paid. The food was good, but not above and beyond expectations. Service was really good for the number of tables that she was serving. The parking lot is a little small, and people were parking where there was not a marked spot. The restaurant was very clean. Will try it again at some point."

"Walking in your notice the familiar smell of home cooked food and the very inviting air conditioning.Cute and simple little diner with a hard to pick just one menu!Service was quick and friendly.I was called back to work before I had a chance to order so I ordered my country skillet to go.It was prepared quickly sadlyit was nearly 2 hours before I had a chance to eat. However, it was still very good! The hashbrowns would have been perfect in the restaurant.I'll definitely eat here again when I come back to town."

"We went out for breakfast this morning, and it did not disappoint! The place was quite busy, which is not my favorite situation these days, but they had plastic dividers between the booths, so it was manageable. On the bright side, the food was really delicious. My husband loved his pancakes, and I enjoyed my omelet. The prices were even better! Overall, a great experience on October 16, 2021."

"I had my first visit to Jimmy's Egg, and I was welcomed with such friendliness! As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a pot of coffee, which was a nice touch. The breakfast ham was tender and juicy, and the portion sizes were larger than I had anticipated. I honestly couldn't find anything to critique! Although we don't visit Ardmore frequently, Jimmy's Egg will definitely be on our list for next time!"

"No power still and had trouble feeding kiddos as well as making food for parents without being able to cook we ordered in for breakfast, there was a bit of a wait for delivery but it’s okay I get it. However we were missing quite a bit. I went through doordash to get through to the restaurant because their phone line was down at the time (well I’m assuming it was a constant busy signal) and I just wanted what was missing to be re delivered. And we agreed with just that, by the time at the doordash driver forgot the other half of our order the first round. So they made it all fresh. Upon them delivering the food they decided to remake the whole entire order just in case there was any miscommunication and that was really cool and a blessing for sure. What I didn’t tell them (because it wasn’t missing) my Grandfathers order was accidentally dropped on the ground and the plate shattered. So for them to remake all was super super kind and cool. It ended up helping us more than they knew besides what was just missing. Thank you guys for going above and beyond! I appreciate you! You made our morning a bit softer!"

"Well the food wasn't too bad but I was not offered a choice in eggs with my breakfast also when I was trying to leave and gave the server my debit card she ran to the cash register and then left my debit card unattended. I don't like to let people leave my sight with my debit card in today's steal everything no work society as it is but for a server to leave it unattended while she did other things is a frowned upon thing with me"

"I can't say enough great things about Bar 1884—it's absolutely amazing! I've been there for both dinner and brunch, and the food is spectacular. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the location is just perfect! I tried the chicken and waffles, which I'm usually picky about since I prefer my own recipe, but their made-to-order waffle batter is customizable and incredibly tasty! I've also enjoyed the salmon, crab wonton dip, Brussels sprouts, and most recently, the braised short rib that just melts in your mouth. Everything is made to perfection—kudos to the chef! If you haven't been to this restaurant yet, I highly recommend it!"
