"This restaurant offers both a cultural and culinary experience. Everything, from the food to the service, has a strong 1950s diner vibe that made me feel like I was at my aunt and uncle's home. They genuinely appreciated having my relatively quiet and well-behaved children there. (We chose to sit on the patio to minimize any potential disturbance to the indoor diners.) When I dined here solo for the first time, the experience was just as enjoyable. The food is EXCELLENT. The Reuben sandwich is superior to most, and the chilaquiles had a surprisingly delightful 1950s twist. As for kid-friendliness, everyone, from the owner to the cook, was very accommodating. We ordered a kids' dish for our two little girls, who are both under three, and they thoughtfully separated it onto two plates."
