"The bartender was very friendly. The menu offers a standard selection along with 10 different special burgers. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and some pickles. The burger was good—not amazing, but not bad either. One thing I found quite odd for a place with so many burgers on the menu was the lack of small round pickle chips, which are usually common on burgers (like those you'd find at McDonald's). They did serve a pickle spear on the side, but there weren’t any pickles to use directly on the burger. This struck me as a bit strange.
It wasn't a huge problem, as I simply cut the spear and put it on my burger. The bartender was also happy to bring me an extra pickle on the side. The beer I had was cold, which I appreciated. Overall, I found PJ’s to be pretty average—neither particularly remarkable nor disappointing. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was decent, but nothing truly unforgettable, except for the pleasant bartender and the lack of pickles for the burgers. I might return, but I’d also be inclined to try a different place."
