"Absolutely perfect food, the best chicken and waffles I've had in the city. Awesome, quick service. Food was all delicious and fresh. Prices are reasonable, especially for the location and quality. Charming and cozy atmosphere. Found a new favorite Diner here. Had to tip the cook and the waiter for their outstanding service. If you're hungry, please do yourself a favor and sit down for a meal here. You absolutely will not regret it."

"Update: they replied saying they were sorry I was unhappy with my sandwich, but they were anything BUT sorry when I brought it to their attention. Funny response.Ordered a patty melt as the picture looked better than a standard burger. I did order without onions. What I got was very, very different than what was pictured on their menu.I mentioned it to the waitress and she got the manager/owner/whoever. She came from the back, I explained that I was disappointed with it and why. I showed her the pic from her menu and she said the pictures are only suggestions. What?! YOUR pics in YOUR menu are suggestions? Well, I would suggest you make something that looks like that.Basically, it was a frozen patty on two huge slices of rye with the bacon I added and a slice of Swiss cheese. Bottom of the bread was soggy (dark brown in the pics).You can see for yourself the pics vs the menu Pic.She offered something else, but they were kind of busy and I didn 't want my new food coming out after my wife was done hersGot the check and they neither discounted nor removed the unacceptable food that I didn 't eat. When I went to the register, I asked and they got someone else from the back.To him I explained as well and he told me it was my opinion that it looked nothing like the pics. Lol. I offered to pay for a side of fries because I ate the fries while waiting, but did not wish to pay for the subpar food I did not eat. He did take the whole thing off, be he was not happy.Just honestly poor attitudes when I brought this too them. Very much more interested in telling me I was wrong rather than being apologetic and trying to fix things."

"with 1200 reviews and a 4.5 rating, I'm not sure what I could really add to the conversation, but I still feel compelled to get on something deserved lob too heap. this is one of its kind spot for a car lover not to miss! fresh ground meat, hand-ground pommes and house made tweeper rings, it is a trifecta of taste. this is not an almost food burger and it is not fast food prices, but for the quality, size and taste it is worth every single penny! my only concern is that the dii hung room is a tad run and neglected. this was not enough to my five star rating (and I don't give much of them). Come here, get your burger!"

"Ok so after year of supporting this business they get someone at the register not the normal sweet lady who is there majority of the.time this person was incompetent got the order all wrong after repeated to her a million times smh. Finally they sent these nasty steaks not chopping up the meat condiments food was over $50 they retaliated by saying no delivery smh.. u spend almost $60 and they get mad bcuz you want your food done right no you cannot send condiments on the side that were meant to be cooked on the sandwich instead of having the problem with the customer how bout make sure the person taking the orders is competent and not overwhelmed.. that was the issue basically And value customer hard earned money take pride in service and not deliver anything expecting ppl to be ok with.. I’m fine with your choice of not delivering I actually find it hilarious… considering the competition in the area.."

"Highly recommend this restaurant! Despite its small size, we were seated promptly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I appreciated being able to order tasty potato salad as a side instead of the typical French fries. It was evident that there were many regular customers, as the waitresses seemed to know them well. I would definitely come back for another meal!"

"Discovered this off the beaten track dinner a couple of weeks ago and so glad I did, country small town charm, fantastic food and great service. My first time there was to try their Monte Cristo sandwich, was not disappointed, took a pic of the sandwhich and me with the chef and my waitress it was that good. Casual atmosphere don't have to get all dressed up which suits me just fine. Everyone I've meet there is pleasant and friendly and a lot of them seem to know each other ... regulars and the waitresses seem to know them by name. Today I had the fried Cod and could not have been better, something on the menu for everyone plus a small salad bar fresh fixings. You need to give it a try, think I've found me a nice homey spot for early evening dinners or soup and a sandwich or whatever, also great desserts and variety of hand scooped ice cream. Like having dinner at my grandmother's 60+ years and I don't have to help do the dishes ..."

"Before the Pandemic started we patronized often. The girls (older ladies) that had been employed there had been employed there for Years, they had WT together. Food was good, place was clean. About 6 months ago I paid them a visit and The girls were gone, and there's a whole new staff including a new chef. And it's (under new management). I ordered the same thing that I always have, a butter burger platter with fries and coleslaw. The whole meal was ghastly.The meal went into the trash. They have changed the meat and the oil they use to prepare the fries, the coleslaw was dry with no seasoning, and the mayonnaise tasted off/cheap. So in my opinion they need go back to the products that were used prior to the management change and they could benefit by hiring a new chef."

"This was the worst food that I have ever had.. I had grown up eating White Tower years ago. I returned home to Toledo after living gout of out and was excited to try a Butter Burger and enjoy some nostalgia to be utterly disappointed. White Tower was a big deal and for many years and what I found was a truly sad shell of what was a neighborhood and city diner. I went in to pick up my order and the inside was disgusting and dirty. The building was never pristine, but this was horrible. The staff was nice but when I got my food home my $12 butter burger platter and drink felt like I had been robbed. There were literally 10 fries and they were soggy dripping in grease and not even fully cooked. I couldn’t eat them. I fed them to my dog. The burger was horrible with almost no condiments and nothing that I asked for. The cole slaw was dry and disgusting and my drink was in a tiny cup. A fond memory growing up with my mother going to eat there was obliterated. I didn’t finish my burger that was also soggy and gave it to the dog. The young girl who worked there told me that she had been there for two weeks and customers tell her the place has been there forever and I told her that I am 58 and went there as a child. I had hoped for a pleasant experience but was very sad and upset that I would have had a better meal from McDonalds and it would have cost less. I have no idea how it has survived. I looked at the menu and they are trying to make it look upscale but it’s broken down and sad. The very worst meal of my life"

"The restaurant is getting old and worn looking. Our server was great. The food wasn't all that great. We got half a sandwich that looked like it had been dropped on the floor and stepped on. The chicken rice soup was bland. Not quite the Russ's that I remember."
