"Before I left the city, I decided to walk over to GAB's location since it was only a few blocks from where I was staying. Unfortunately, this is where I felt the need to deduct two stars from my review due to the customer service.
There were two young women working that morning, and the one who served me (tall, slim, brunette with short hair) was not very friendly. She came across as somewhat curt and unenthusiastic about assisting me. I only had one request: I wanted the fresh bagels from the front of the trays because I was taking them home. The ones in the back looked darker, which usually indicates they were from the previous day.
While she begrudgingly fulfilled my request, it was clear from her attitude that she felt I was being difficult. Perhaps I was being a bit demanding, but I really wanted those fresh bagels! In any case, the bagels were truly great!"
