"The last few times I did a special order from here the doughnuts seemed to be whatever was left from the day before. My most recent order for pick up had one doughnut missing as well as the wrong colors which was a huge disappointment for a bunch of kids I was bringing them to for a play date. So of course we had a child really upset to have not gotten their special doughnut. We had not seen these children in a long time and then one request was to get specially order donuts from Spunky Dunkers. I asked the girl taking the order to please add red and green sprinkles. I must have repeated this about three times because I have had issues in the past and even repeated the entire order to her. What I got in the box was all all kinds of colors and some were dry doughnuts that were definitely leftovers. When I called to tell them about the missing doughnut and the inaccurate order they said “do you want to drive back here and get your money back?”. I live 30 minutes away from the location so I made a special trip. I know that customer service is extremely important for a family owned business. I have supported this company for a long time and even with their Instagram post asking for customers to come purchase a doughnut when the pandemic hit. I don’t think I will be coming back here for a while. It might be just a inaccurate order of doughnuts to your employees, but please be considerate and double check when handling doughnut orders. It might just make a child’s day"

"This is a no-frills, old-school donut shop, which is exactly how I like it! Just serve me delicious donuts! But wow, how early do you really need to get here? It’s tough to wake up at 6:00 AM on weekends just to get the donuts you desire. Still, by that time, there’s already a line, and the donuts are flying out the door! They're truly that good! Prices are reasonable, with a classic donut costing $1.50. They also offer croissants, and my favorite is the ham and cheese one. If you’re an early riser, definitely stop by for the donuts! Be prepared and know what you want to order, as they tend to disappear quickly if you hesitate. Bring cash, as card payments incur a $0.50 fee. As an added bonus, it’s conveniently located right next to Starbucks!"

"I love the employees!! I only see three employees on different days. They hold it tight, so polite. Customer services are high quality. I don't care if the store is new or old. I worked hard for the coins (I mean dollar) My ice cream coffee is usually correct and if it doesn't, they rotate professionally. Open 24 hours... I would like to see Donut Connection owners expanding/renovating or updating the interior and exterior. Just a facial lift. More tables eat outside.... Donut Connection owns the New Donut connection in California MD- it's nice!! Lexington Park shopping malls looks terrible!!! Thank you for being open 24 hours!!"

"It's pretty much a duty to take my out-of-town visitors to this San Francisco institution especially since it's just around the corner from me and it's open 24 hours so any occasion is the right occasion. Just have to make sure they have their daily vegan offerings on stock. Unfortunately, unlike its Baker street location, this location doesn't make their vegan donuts at all times of the day. When they do, it's usually the apple fritter, cinnamon sugar, and glazed. Had all three and each time, I'm always reminded why Bob's is a classic."

"The lady working here was very rude to me. I was simply delivering door dash and was ready to pick up my order as the app said it was ready to pick up. When asking the Ike's employee about where they keep mobile orders she had raised her voice and told me to wait in the back of the line and that she doesn't have anyones order ready. After being publicly humiliated I retreated to my car where I contacted both customers I was delivering for to explain to them what is going on with their orders. Not even being the customer and delivering for that business I'd expect more professionalism out of that place. I'll never be back as a customer or a door dasher. You have lost my business."

"These donuts are incredible, and the prices are very affordable. The service is exceptionally friendly as well. I would rate this place a perfect 10/10. I highly recommend trying their blueberry cake donut; it has a crunchy bottom, a soft interior, and a delightful, beautiful blueberry glaze. "I was very disappointed with my visit. The establishment was extremely dirty, with palm, hand, and fingerprints all over the display glass. The walls were in poor condition, and the seating area was quite unappealing. The floors were messy, with remnants of dried ice cream and sprinkles scattered everywhere. I've never encountered an ice cream shop in such a filthy state. I ordered mocha ice cream, but unfortunately, I couldn't taste any mocha flavor; it was just cold. On a positive note, the young lady and gentleman at the counter were very polite and helpful. It’s clear that a professional cleaning service is needed to improve the cleanliness of this place."

"As I read on other reviews, the doughnuts were good. However, the customer service was bad. I was in the area and stopped in expecting a good place to get a doughnut and expecting a pleasant shop. I was met by a stone face elderly Korean woman. I said 'good morning with a smile. ' She did not say anything/ I ordered 3 doughnuts, she said, that 's all? 'Yes, I replied and she told me the total for the order. I left thinking that I would never return due to the service. As I said, the donuts were good by nothing is worth a return visit with such bad service. Sorry to all the others who wrote good reviews but bad service, no thank you."

"I had to ask an employee for guidance on how to get what I wanted because the food was laid out in a rather confusing manner. She pointed out the tongs and then I had to inquire about where to place my selections. She indicated a stack of boxes and bags. Taking a box, I felt a bit awkward as I walked around choosing different items. After paying and tipping, I left, but the treats I picked were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the pink cookies, twisty donuts, and especially my favorite—the cake with pink frosting! I don’t even mind feeling a little self-conscious as an introvert, with the tongs and people watching me. I will definitely be back for that cake! So yummy! Great job!"
