"First of all, the service was excellent. I would give it two stars, but if I could rate it 2.5 just for the service, I would. I chose this place because it’s a gastropub, and I was looking for something special to celebrate my anniversary with my fiancée. Before we went, I checked the menu and saw the prices, thinking they must be worth it. However, the food turned out to be average and terribly overpriced. I paid $11 for a cup of French onion soup that didn’t taste any better than others I've had for half the price. My dinner of chicken and cinnamon waffle was quite small for $25, though it did have a decent flavor. My fiancée didn’t particularly enjoy her salad. Overall, I won’t be returning, as the cost of the food simply wasn’t justified. If it had been cheaper, I might have rated it a 3 or even 3.5 stars, but given the prices, I can’t do that."
