"Next, we ordered food, and my girlfriend chose the veggie burger. Unfortunately, after a while, our server returned to tell us that they were out of the veggie burger as well. This was particularly disappointing since my girlfriend is vegan, and that item was the only vegan option on the brunch menu that day. We had specifically chosen this restaurant because they are usually quite vegan-friendly.
In the end, we asked the server if they could prepare something special for her, and she received a plate of vegetables, which she did not enjoy. On a positive note, I will say that the food and drinks are usually quite good when they are available. However, the poor service, confusion, and lack of communication are major drawbacks. The kitchen should have adjusted the menu or informed the servers about what items were out of stock ahead of time. Because of this experience, we won’t be returning."
