"Their frozen margaritas have a great reputation, and even though it was quite chilly outside, I had to try one—they were delicious, thick, and smooth. For a warmer option, I switched to traditional margaritas "with heat," which excelled at blending the flavors of a spicy margarita with a kick, reminiscent of Haitian spice. The 1800 Mule was also fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't recall all the drinks my colleague sampled aside from a Paloma, but he enjoyed them all.
A nice touch is that they are dog-friendly, which is refreshing when wandering the streets without your furry companions. Our bartender, Haran, served us both times and was a master at crafting drinks. He was also attentive, friendly, humorous, and helpful. I tried not to overcomplicate my order, but after a long and overwhelming week, I needed some guidance. It's refreshing to visit a place where the staff can offer intuitive food and drink suggestions. Lance was an absolute pro, efficiently crafting margaritas while still finding time to chat with us and share more about the venue.
I must give a shout-out to the server with the pink buttons; for some reason, I made it my unofficial mission to always be in her line of sight. She was kind, funny, and endearing, although I'm saddened I didn’t catch her name. My only regret was planning a second visit to grab some merchandise we forgot to buy on our first trip, but our Lyft arrived sooner than expected, and we missed out. Thankfully, I discovered that they sell their merch online, so I was able to order some!
The crowd was wonderfully diverse, and I can't recommend Sanchos enough for any occasion; it’s an incredible place for everyone, complete with indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating. When you visit San Antonio, it’s worth stepping away from the tourist hotspots to experience what Sanchos has to offer—or visiting every night of your stay. If you’re looking for great food, drinks, and a memorable experience, Sanchos is the place to be. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making our week complete and turning a long work trip into a delightful adventure!"
