"We are really trying to like this place but they continue to have service problems. They brought out the food for members of our party, but the last order didn't make it out until the rest of us were almost done. Clearly they had forgotten to start the pizza, and the waiter and the kitchen staff started blaming each other. Admit you made a mistake, say you're sorry, offer some sort of recompense and move on, but don't start making excuses."

"What bothered me most about this experience was that the manager never came over to apologize for the service issues caused by the kitchen; that responsibility fell solely on our friendly server, who had nothing to do with the problems. At the very least, the manager could have addressed the issue for my colleague, who had just finished a 13-hour shift and left with his boxed wings. As a dedicated Google reviewer, I take my role seriously, especially when traveling. I usually refrain from writing negative reviews unless I visit a place twice, as all restaurants can have an off night. However, there is no excuse for the number of mistakes we encountered, and it was disappointing that no manager took a moment to acknowledge or apologize for such poor service. Despite everything, we each spent an average of $30 and tipped the server well."

"I have visited this restaurant around 2 times per year for several years. However, my most recent visit has left me hesitant to return as the food was average at best. The appetizers of baked oysters and fried mushrooms were decent, although the oysters were not very warm. The shiitake mushrooms were a generous portion. The crab cake entree was disappointing compared to previous visits, lacking in crab flavor despite being large. The grouper special was a bit tough and overcooked, likely due to the thin filet. The food was somewhat greasy. On the positive side, the view was nice and the waiter was attentive. I may consider returning to try the oyster stew and soups as well as opting for a meal of appetizers. It is possible that this was just an off day for the restaurant and things may improve in the future. Alternatively, it could be that the restaurant is cutting back on more expensive ingredients. I may give it another try in the future."

"It was disappointing that the lobby wasn’t open, so we had to order at the counter, where it was difficult to see and hear the staff. The prices were much higher than we expected. However, the food was surprisingly good, so perhaps we just chose the more expensive items. The covered outdoor seating area was fairly clean, but the parking lot was littered with cigarette butts, as if there were no ashtrays available. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. Maybe delivery is the better option since the pizza was the highlight."

"The restaurant has declined so badly over our last few visits. The pizza quality has gone down rapidly. It is greasy and flavorless. The rolls were the only item that was good. The antipasta salad veggies were cut so small they were flavorless. The service was very slow, inattentive and it was hard to get the check. We will never return. Costco has much better pizza sadly. "This restaurant embodies every negative stereotype associated with a certain demographic. The staff, particularly the men behind the bar, behave as if they are doing customers a favor by simply performing their job duties. It is not a destination for anything other than observing the cringeworthy atmosphere created by a bar full of loud, entitled, white fraternity brothers who lack basic spatial awareness. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a big dog clumsily knocking over a vase and then blaming the vase for being in its path."

"We made reservations, and we were there in ample time before our concert at State Farm Arena. We ordered our food, and after waiting about minutes, our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up and that it would be at least more minutes before our food “might” come out (a salad and burger). Given that it was now nearly an hour until the concert, and there would be an estimated security line to get into the arena, we canceled our food order, paid for the drinks we had and left without dinner. Very disappointing that the restaurant could t service their customers. It’s not as if this was the first concert or event next door."

"The restaurant seems to be seriously understaffed right now. When I arrived to pick up my takeout order, there were no customers in sight, and I wasn’t even early. I had to wait 10 minutes while the hostess went to get my order, and when it finally came, the calamari had tomato sauce instead of the aioli I had requested. Additionally, the peppers were left raw on the side for some reason, and the 3B burger didn’t have any BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered these issues. I genuinely love the food here, but they’re struggling to maintain the level of quality that their menu promises. Everything is cooked well, but it feels like the staff isn’t fully aware of how to put it all together."

"Located on Newbury Street in Boston, The Thinking Cup is a bustling coffee shop with a charming outdoor seating area adorned with umbrellas. It was quite busy, both inside and outside, indicating its popularity among coffee lovers. There is no outdoor service, so I had to venture inside, where I waited in a long line to grab my coffee before heading back outside. I ordered three coffees, and they also offer a selection of macaroons, pastries, and sandwiches. The iced coffee was exactly what we needed after a long day of walking—it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly chilled. This spot is ideal for sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying some people-watching."

"Our server was super! The corner booth table offered great comfort and acoustics for the six of us to visit. Manager Dean dropped by to see how things were. Our only real criticism involves the kitchen. Heat up the fryer, so the fries are crisp, not soggy and warm. Add some butter, THEN turn up the grill, so the crab cake breading has a crunch instead of total mush. We will for sure be back as the Rueben cheese sandwich was great and the garlic knots are absolutely out-of-this-world! Can't wait to play all your games with friends!!"
