"I don’t plan to return to this restaurant. During my first visit, I ordered rice pupusas over the phone. When I arrived to pick them up, the woman informed me that she didn’t have rice flour to make them and offered to make them with corn instead. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes. The second time, I again ordered the rice pupusas over the phone to eat there, and she assured me they would be ready in 20 minutes. However, upon my arrival, she told me once again that they didn’t have rice and couldn’t make them. I don’t understand how they can take an order for something they don’t have. After two years, I decided to give it another try and ordered rice pupusas again. This time, when I arrived, my order was ready. Unfortunately, they didn’t even resemble proper pupusas; they were all deformed, small, and puffy in the center, while the edges looked like flour as if the rice dough hadn’t been mixed properly. I paid $34 for 10 pupusas, but given their size, they were far too expensive. I have never paid more than $3 for such poor-quality pupusas. These people clearly don’t know how to make them. They might be good at other dishes, but pupusas are not their specialty."
