So, the food was good but at per person, you expect the food would be great. It certainly was not. The value that is, food quality for the price was not there. Usually Sushi places close on Sunday due to no fresh fish deliveries on Sundays. nothing was on the spot and the best was the ice that came with the VIP sushi set. "Why was this place so packed for a Thursday night ? Maybe because this is the OG spot or Nobu and what created the Nobu brand and culinary powerhouse. This is the first original Nobu restaurant and the taste and flavors of the food prove it right. I always love sitting at the sushi bar when going out for sushi but they have both an inside and outdoors seating. I started off with the red snapper and the chef was quick to remind me no sauce cause it would just kill the delicious butter taste of salt and snapper mixed into one melting in your mouth. I followed that up with an uni shooter and half shell of oysters. Delicious. I continued with some rice crispy tuna twist, where they serve the rice on a stick and give you the side of tuna to put on top yourself. I finished that off with a seared tuna sushi and a crab hand roll. I washed all of this down with the matsuhisa martini which I was not a fan of, but hey, when in Rome. Gotta try the new stuff when you can. All of it was delicious! This place clearly has a lot of regulars, obviously based on how busy they were and the chefs familiarity with their guests. It 's a must try and you can 't go wrong with any of the food they have on their extensive (and I mean extensive) diverse menu."

The proportions of fish to rice is perfect. Remember going into some Sushi bars with 2/3 rice and the fish is cut paper thin for higher price because it’ some fancy deco. This is Kuro’s second home, rock n roll posters, great music and fresh fish. Orange Sunrise; creamy delicious quail eggs, salmon and smelt egg, melt in your mouth. El Fuegio is spicy, but not the hottest, just enough to make it one of our favorites. Rainbow Roll is a sampler of many different fresh fish and that’s the difference between other sushi bars, this fish is fresh and created with a passion. "Celebrated my birthday at SHU Sushi House Unico, and here's the scoop. We reserved a table on OpenTable, looking forward to a memorable celebration. However, there were a few hiccups. Not only did they cancel my OpenTable reservation, but there was also no mention or offer of a complimentary dessert for my birthday, despite my boyfriend informing the waiter about the occasion. Now, onto the food it had its moments. The truffle pasta stood out, albeit a bit heavy on the cream, and priced at $57 for a small portion. Other sushi dishes were just okay, with the sashimi being a highlight. Fortunately, my boyfriend and I had eaten beforehand, so we weren't left hungry. While SHU Sushi House Unico is worth a try, particularly for the truffle pasta, the oversight on the birthday celebration and the reservation cancellation were notable downsides. If you're in the mood for top notch sushi and a smoother celebratory experience, you might want to explore other options. The mixed experience encountered during our visit leaves me hesitant to assign a specific rating, as it had both positive and negative aspects. Additionally, note that the restaurant is small and can get crowded quickly, impacting the overall ambiance. This might be something to consider when planning your visit."

"Nobu never disappoints. Food, service and ambience were top notch. And the new location is beautiful swanky without being pretentious. Loved everything we had cocktails were perfectly executed, beef tobanayaki was like buttah, warm mushroom salad, rock shrimp tempura, and crispy rice with spicy ahi were all cooked to perfection, and hamachi jalapeno and oysters were fresh and tasty. Would love to go to Nobu every week!"

"We went specifically for their signature item, a caviar platter and they were out of caviar. The service was awful. The waiter observed empty (bottomless) wine glasses and with the two open bottles in a bucket on the table, allowed us to pour our own wine after he asked if we needed anything and we said yes and he didn 't move or make eye contact. Checking on us was sporadic and by a variety of people without explanation. The bottomless wine was not offered to be replenished even after 30 minutes of both bottles being empty and turned upside down in the bucket."

"Each of the three rolls we ordered was unique and absolutely delicious. I relied on the staff's recommendations, and they were very helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and clean, making it a great choice for a date night. Plus, there's valet parking with a really friendly staff in the lot. Just a heads-up: on Saturdays, there's a farmers market nearby, which can make the restaurant a bit tricky to find! I can't wait to bring my friends and family here. The three rolls we tried were the Manhattan, the B-51, and the Albacore. While the names might not be perfect, they were all specialty rolls and beautifully presented. You could tell right away how fresh the avocado and albacore on top were, promising a special experience. They even packed all the sauces separately for takeout, ensuring everything remained fresh for when I got home."

"avoid at all costs! that was one of the worst culinary experiences of my life. it began with the woman at the front of the house claimed that the sushi bar seat only for those who participated in the omakase menu. the open table listing says available only Omakase menu in sushi bar. this botanical is completely unrelated. it might be interpreted in such a way that the Omakase menu is only available at the sushi bar. there is no plausible interpretation of this statement to mean that omakase is the only option for those who sit at the sushi bar. Moreover, as I explained, there is no indication of such a restriction in the selection of sushi bar sessions on the open table platform. if yes, I would have decided to sit on a table. After the woman had continued to argue with me in front of the house, we sat at the bar. from there it got worse. I ordered two cut rolls. they came out as four huge pieces, each of which I suspect is food. the fish in the rolls was an art paste that would be better suited for cat food. I have dined in dozens and dozens of sushi restaurants from the most basic to extremely high end and have never seen such bad quality. I suspect that this sushi was for my opinion about the Omakase restriction. combined sasabune offers inexplicable policies, rude service and disgusting food. fortunately, there are very good possibilities close to, including directly opposite and in robertson and charleville, which saved our night."
