"I don't write any negative reviews in the rule, I just don't return to places where I had bad experiences; but this place was advertised as one of the best restaurants in delray beach. what was for a disappointment was this place. the eating was “OK” but the service was terrible, the server did not care about our empty water glasses, the bottle we bought was thrown away and I had to ask the server to fill our glasses again, the dinner came without the next-courts and the addition to my daughter plate came out after being made with her steak. to round it, they added to our bill a second bottle of wine, which we did not order and an additional dessert that they did not provide. only for them an idea, our bill was $800. sad experience and by the way the name of the server was barbra."

"Humidity Problems?. I wish I could say something really good about Hanks. If you are someone who appreciates food that is made carefully and purposefully, DON'T go to Hanks. If you want a LOT of food at an OK price, it will be wonderful if you can stomach the dryness of seemingly every dish. There must be a humidity problem at Hanks. Everything seemed to be dry. From the Roast Beef to the German Chocolate Cake. Dry. They had oysters for Sunday brunch. Mealy. Don't touch them. Lastly, the Men's Room smelled HORRIBLE. They need to fix that problem. "Made a reservation for 7, to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was the first time for most in the party and everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered. I had the Tuscan Chicken which was very delicious. We really enjoyed the holiday decorations. The Christmas tree was beautiful."

"I DONT recommend this place nasty and dirty full of homeless sitting inside . Place is rundown . The owner should be ashamed of himself having a place so filthy and rundown. I got grossed out with the food the tables are dirty no one comes and cleans them and the floors look like they have not been cleaned since it first opened . "Homey local Italian spot with large portions. Came here in a group of four on a Friday around 7:30 and waited about 15-20 min to get a table. Metered street parking only (no private parking). Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. Two gender neutral restrooms available behind the hostess stand. They can accommodate large groups. Kid-friendly. They give you complimentary bread with olive oil and basalmic vinegar. I got the chicken Parmesan Hermosa which was huge, and made for great leftovers the following day for lunch. The shrimp gnocchi is also a good call if you like creamy white sauces. For those who are pickier, you can opt to customize your own pasta. The tiramisu “for two” can easily feed four people and is a good dessert option. Overall, for a spot that’s close to the pier but still with a local flair, this is the right call."

"I also got a side salad that contained just four pieces of chopped tomato. When my boyfriend ordered a side salad too, he asked if he would receive a garden salad with Caesar dressing, and the server assured him he would. However, she didn't check on us after delivering our food and instead came back 20 minutes later asking about cartons we hadn’t requested. When it came time to order dessert, we declined despite being offered a box. Our bill included an additional $3 fee for card payments. If my boyfriend were to leave a review, it would simply say, “This place belongs on a kitchen nightmares episode.” But if you're looking for a trendy spot to take an expensive Instagram photo, this is definitely the place to go!"

"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since the 90s. The service used to be consistently good, but my most recent order through Grubhub was disappointing. I did not receive the plastic silverware, extra bread, or Italian dressing that I had requested. They also no longer provide parmesan cheese or cracked red pepper with meals. I would be willing to pay extra for these items if they were on the menu. Not receiving them really affected my dining experience."

To make matters worse, while I was paying, I spotted a cockroach lounging on the wall—it was about 1.5 inches long, not including its antennae. The service was prompt but somewhat brusque. "This was our first time in so we did not know what to expect. We stood waiting for seat for around 5 minutes, got sat and waited a bit for our sodas. We were greeted by our server (did not say his name) but he had such great energy. We talked with him for a few minutes, learning he is a new server there. We placed our order and even tho he could not pronounce the meals or salads correctly, he made up for it with his laughter (he laughed at himself and it was awesome to see). I've been in restaurant industry all my life so I could relate to him, I felt his nerves, I felt his need to be perfect, I saw so much of me at 17/18 in him. The food was buy far some of the best in the area and the prices are perfect. The meal sizes do not leave you hungry. We will be back not only for the food but to see how much the server has grown and learned. Awesome time!!!! Thank you"

"Group not well treated. A few weeks ago, a large group of teachers in Warren was for a music festival. One of the best restaurants in town for dinner service is certainly Chido's. Related in town....and were there many times..... I recommended the place and the food was not abandoned. But... it was a Thursday night and they were really not busy. But... if we were there... the house staff really seemed like they didn't want to join us. We did not make reservations... ..a mistake....but it was Thursday and the parking was not too full. We came through the meal....had very good food.....but the recruitment of the staff would certainly have more accomodating."
