"Crossing the dessert plain of a South Jersey parking lot the mysterious frontage adds mystery to what awaits next to an innocuous nail salon. Open the door and you enter Cherry Hill 's casbah of Moroccan delights. It 's dark interior has intimate collections of cushioned seating surrounding tables set with colorful plating. As you are greeted by a truly caring host the unique tones of music from the Middle East adds to your awareness that this is not your everyday dinner out. The menu offers two prix fixe feast options as well as non-feast choices. We were a group ... so feast it would be with each diner choosing his/her own entree. We added a vegetarian Bastilla as a sweet starter just because we all enjoy this sweet pastry powdered in sugar; we knew it would take time to bake. The feast began with Harrira; a delicious vegetable soup that provided us with the unique flavor combinations of North Africa. Happiness circled our table. The huge salad tray arrived with pita offering three perfectly prepared salad choices to either pick up in pita or to enjoy with spoon fork. One salad in the mix is roasted eggplant pate ... I personally do not like eggplant .., actually I will never order eggplant nor place it near my mouth but this was different thanks to the spice blend and I wanted more! While all of our hands were ravenously groping for more of these salad delights the bastilla arrived steamy hot; our attentive server sliced it to allow the heat and tempting scent to hit the air. Once cooled we quickly devoured this well chosen appetizer. Our main course was served individually with couscous flavored with fruit and a variety of veggies in the Tajin. Exotic spices created truly delectable meals; well done chef! Dessert was baklava in a fruit mixture. Honestly, I have had better. Not that Cous Cous dessert was disappointing but it was not the equal of the rest of this delicious meal. And, yes a belly dancer arrived catching the eyes of all with her well developed gyrations, We left happy and satisfied ... great service ... wonderful atmosphere ...delicious food As the door opened onto South Jersey our question was ... why aren 't more local residents escaping to this oasis to start their weekends? It 's worth the trip!"

"1. "I had a disappointing experience with this place. I had at least six options to choose from, but the food was cold when I picked it up. They even replaced my food without informing me. What was supposed to be a 20-minute wait turned into an hour. It just keeps getting worse. I decided to give them one last chance when they started offering delivery, but the drivers weren't available that night. It seems like the owners really don’t care. I’d recommend sticking with Poor Peoples Pub instead; at least they’re consistent with their indifference." 2. "I tried this restaurant multiple times, thinking things would improve, but it just keeps getting worse. My food was cold at pickup, and they switched it out without letting me know. A 20-minute wait turned into an hour. On top of that, when I hoped for a better experience with their pizza delivery, there were no drivers available. It’s clear the owners don’t care. I suggest going to Poor Peoples Pub instead — at least there’s no pretense there." 3. "I wanted to like this restaurant, but my experiences have been frustrating. I had six choices, but when I picked up my food, it was cold. They even replaced my meal without telling me. What was meant to be a 20-minute wait turned into an hour. I thought I’d give them one last chance with their new pizza delivery service, but there were no drivers available that night. It seems like the owners are indifferent to customer satisfaction. I’d recommend Poor Peoples Pub instead; at least they are straightforward." 4. "This restaurant has really let me down. With at least six menu options, I was excited, but my food was cold when I picked it up, and they switched it out without any notice. A supposed 20-minute wait stretched into an hour, which is unacceptable. I thought I’d give their delivery service a try, but no drivers were available that night. The owners seem to have a complete disregard for their customers. I suggest you stick to Poor Peoples Pub; at least they’re refreshingly honest about their lack of concern." 5. "I’ve tried giving this restaurant a fair chance, but it just keeps disappointing me. I had six options, but the food was cold when I picked it up. They ended up replacing my order without telling me, and a 20-minute wait turned into an hour. I thought the new pizza delivery would be a good change, but there were no drivers that night. The owners seem uninterested in customer service. I recommend Poor Peoples Pub instead; they clearly don’t pretend to care." 6. "After several attempts to enjoy this restaurant, I’ve hit my limit. There were at least six choices, but my food was cold at pickup, and they replaced it without informing me. A 20-minute wait morphed into an hour. I decided to give their pizza delivery a shot, only to find there were no drivers that evening. It’s clear the owners don’t prioritize customer care. I’d recommend heading over to Poor Peoples Pub; they don’t hide their indifference.""
