"2023 Update: I've been visiting this place for years, from my time in NYC to now living in Philly. While the food is still good, it doesn't quite reach the level of amazing it once did. My main concern is with the service. It feels like they are taking advantage of the halal food trend, attracting customers from all over the East Coast who come for the halal cheesesteaks, and they are well aware of this. Over the past few years, prices have increased by 20-30%, and they now add a 15% dining-in charge, along with a $40 minimum to use a card and a 4% fee for card transactions. A cheesesteak ends up costing over $20 to eat in, and I've also noticed some staff members can be quite rude during the experience. On a positive note, I still think they offer the best halal cheesesteak around, and Maroosh is also worth trying."
