"while the atmosphere was fantastic, the meal left much to wish. I feel as if they get a more tasteful version of everything on the menu of each Kebab place. frankly, the best we tasted (from a lot of appetizers and main dishes) was the baked cheese. that is not so remarkable when considering that everyone can bake. Note: it was also discouraging that they could not even eat their rice as a gluten-free individual. that's bizarre for me."

"I went to this restaurant for a group dinner. We started with Orange Juice, but it seemed to be made from juice powder. We waited for 45 minutes or more to receive our food. The taste of the food was average. The ambiance was nice with plenty of seating. The service was okay. Overall, it was a dine-in dinner experience with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person."

"Nice spot in Greenwich! The music playing inside drew us in. The cauliflower was really good with the tahini. I would recommend it! The lamb kebab and rice were the stars in the mixed platter. The chicken and kofte were a bit bland. The tzatziki sauce is not quite like Greek tzatziki but the restaurant's own take, which did not seem to have cucumber and was a bit more tangy. Our server was so kind, friendly, and attentive. She treated us to date cookie at the end of our meal. One thing we noticed was that our menu didn't have options for pita wraps and other offerings shown here in the menu on Yelp. Perhaps, it is because we went during dinner, or because there is a new menu. I would be interested in trying some of those dishes, if they are served during lunch time or for other occasions."

"What a delightful experience! The lentil soup was incredible, and the lamb egg rolls were flavorful. The lamb meatball and rice bowl were outstanding. We even asked for the recipe for the Harissa sauce because it was so good! The happy hour prices were reasonable too. This place is a hidden gem that deserves to be packed every night."

"If you’re looking for a quaint and scrumptious place for to eat exceptional Mediterranean food with indoor and outdoor seating then come to Amar Mediterranean Bistro.Food: The food was delicious and their portions match their price. I was happy with the hummus I ate as it tasted very fresh and the naan was fresh as well. The chicken was perfectly seasoned as well.Atmosphere: This is a cute smaller place with a good amount of indoor seating and limited seating. It does get loud if you sit inside. The waitresses were also kind to us.Price: The prices here are fairly normal for the prices of restaurants on the avenue. I also believe they have happy hour deals and on Tuesdays they have 50% off their bottle wines at the time I’m writing this review as we know restaurants can change things.Parking: There is street parking available in the area or a garage by the delray beach marketplace and you have to pay for both when you park."

"There were two men preparing the food and one of them was unmasked which was kind of surprising and has resulted in a four, rather than five star rating. As of February 28th masks in Illinois are optional, but it is not that day yet. On the other hand, the work surfaces looked clean and neat, the floors were clean and the drink cabinet was clean and orderly. No unpleasant odors and no signs of insects was always appreciated! Our cheeseburgers and other food were very good. We will continue to have food from this restaurant delivered or we will pick it up ourselves when we feel safer being out among unmasked people."

"I came across Mazzat while exploring Red Hook and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience! I ordered the grilled half chicken, which turned out to be the best chicken I've ever had and a major reason why I enjoyed the restaurant so much. The waiter's recommendation was spot on! The service was excellent – the waiter was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable, making me feel very welcome. The only downside was the diet coke I was served had very little soda in it. Other than that, everything was fantastic, and I especially enjoyed the open layout of the restaurant that created a great atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. This cuisine isn't typically my favorite, but I left very satisfied. Vegetarians will also find plenty of options here."

"A good friend introduced me to gazalas in 2021 and I simply couldn’t believe I didn’t know about it! Absolutely love this place. It is so rare to find a spot that makes their own pita type bread (unique more flat, chewy, delicious) and here it’s a real star! The babaganoush is a real smoky standout, hummus perfectly creamy and fresh, well seasoned. The falafel are always hot and fresh. Tabouleh is perfect, classic, fresh parsley without excess wheat (bulgar or cous cous) and divinely lemony. I always get the little meat cigars as a treat. Lentil soup is a stand out- phenomenal, would buy it by the barrel if I could. Grape leaves are delicious. Yogurt (labane) authentic and perfect. If I’m buying for a few days I’ll get the fattoush (best eaten fresh) and some lamb kebabs. I get the chicken kebab for my husband. Various desserts made in house are divine. Kanafe is my weakness. It’s hard to save room for dessert so I just take it to go. A staple of high quality, healthy food. The best part is that my kitchen stays clean and I get to enjoy everything I love about Israeli food."

"This is definitely one of my favorite places in LA now! The servers are some of the kindest people I've encountered; they truly made the restaurant feel like home. They were incredibly helpful in recommending delicious dishes and sharing their personal favorites. We even had the chance to chat about our families. The food is vibrant and full of flavor, and I couldn't get enough of the rice. This place stands out because everything tastes fresh and light, unlike many other spots that tend to overuse oil. As someone with Persian roots, I really appreciate this type of cuisine and love seeing how different cultures put their own spin on dishes. I indulged in the Kabob Combo Plate and a few desserts, all of which were delightful! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant; I plan to return as often as I can! It's always a pleasure to find a place that feels and tastes like home."

"My sisters and I just ate at Al Wadi and we were very disheartened to learn that an establishment such as this does not consider their main demographic by offering a prayer area. There are so many restaurants that can serve alcohol but not very many that will offer a prayer room. The servers and the host were amazing. The owner should be ashamed that her workers who also seem to be Muslim are not provided that consideration. Above all, you can see there is no blessing in their business as the dining hall was practically empty, meanwhile I have gone to so many Middle Eastern restaurants that offer food and prayer area and they are always packed. It’s not alcohol that will give you blessings. Perhaps if you make a prayer area you may get more blessings and further your success in this business. Above was my initial review to which I was responded by I should be reviewing the food and the experience. The food was definitely sub par. I have definitely eaten far better middle eastern food very close to this restaurant. The experience was definitely disheartening considering they gave no importance to their main demographic which prays. Like I said earlier, the servers and staff were great. You definitely don’t feel the roots of the heritage to which the food represents. No culture was present."

"Waiter gave me an attitude immediately after we walked in and then completely ignored us after we were sat at a table. After waiting for several minutes for our useless waiter to return, we decided to leave without ordering. After what was exposed at One if by Land, Two if by Sea it's hard not to wonder if racism played a part at this trashy place."

"Third attempt to write this review with lousy internet, but Cedars deserves a good review! We love the food--ate here three times in one weekend--and appreciated so much that the waiter was so helpful with our dietary restrictions. The Labneh deserves special mention, as does the mixed kebab platter, which let us decide on our favorites. Definitely worth a stop, and we'll be back again next time we're in Roanoke!"
"I was very excited to try this restaurant and then learned that the owner is celiac and there are many gluten-free options. Everything was good, The grape leaves were tasty although small hummus was very nice, not exceptional. I do plan to return to try more items on the menu. Just one note for people eating gluten-free many of the menu items say they are gluten-free but contain rice mixed with vermicelli which is a pasta and not gluten-free. The substitution is rice with meat which doesn’t work if you’re also not eating meat. In any case it was tasty."

"Absolutely amazing food! I ordered the lamb kebab meal (with an extra kebab), along with feta and olives, rice pudding, and that delightful hibiscus tea. As a bonus, they treated me to a baklava since it was my first time there. I was particularly impressed with the charred lamb and peppers, which were perfectly seasoned with a subtle touch of spice. The meal came with a generous serving of flavorful rice, a fresh salad, and delicious garlic sauce. The feta was pleasantly firm, salty, and delectable. Although the olives could have been better, they didn’t detract from the experience. The rice pudding was creamy and comforting, and the baklava was simply exquisite. I usually find baklava to be too sweet, but this one was just right—not too syrupy, just perfect. And that hibiscus tea? Absolute bliss; it’s my favorite! The gentleman who assisted me while picking up my food was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and encouraged me to return. Trust me, I will be back! There are so many more items on the menu I want to try, especially the eggplant dishes. This place is truly a gem!"

"Omg, this place is absolutely delicious. We got a bench outside. It was beautiful day to do just that. My friend ordered the French toast, which looked and tasted absolutely amazing. I ordered the avocado toast. Very flavorful without it being salty. Got a Power Twist juice. I also ordered a scallion cheddar scone. I wish this would've been warmed up a little. Downside, is that it doesn't have servers who take your order. The tables outside are benches, so you're sitting with other people, which is not necessarily my jam. The staff is friendly, those who actually bother to make eye contact and acknowledge my presence. I Had questions about the baked goods and was fully ignored twice. The food quality and outweighs any negative, and don't be scared by the long line. It moves fast and the food is ready in a timely manner. Would definitely go back to try other stuff!!"

"I would give Figs a perfect rating. We decided to order a variety of dishes to share, and each one was some of the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. Our meal started with the PICKLES OLIVES appetizer, which included cauliflower and turnips. Surprisingly, I found the turnips to be delicious. The FATTOUSH SALAD was large enough for sharing, and on a hot day, this cool and crisp salad was much appreciated. It was refreshing and packed with flavor. For our main course, we ordered the FIGS FIVE MEZZE, which included falafel, za'atar fries, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabbouleh, all served with house-made pita bread. Each item offered amazing, fresh flavors that were very satisfying. The pita bread was warm and fresh like little pillows. In conclusion, Figs provided an exceptional dining experience with its delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I highly recommend it!"

"another place we tried after our arch hour (we arch brunch so were there sa at 12:30. back terrace quite beautiful and the open area is shared with the taverne next door (also an attractive space, we went from the front and the interieur was very stylish. We've got a warmer available, but we didn't need one. waitress and attention. we ordered motabal (simply amazing, and sue berag (good as appetizers). spread them motabal on the Pita chips and happily fucked while we clog mimosas. there were 4 of us and the ordered dishes were traditional, chicken kebab, kafta kebab and khashkash kebab. everything was true that eating was good, well prepared and relatiw quickly came. it was a bit expensive for the order that came, but was 't so much we were grunting (but if we ordered the appetizers we could have.)"
