"The angel rice was undercooked and raw. The mujad dara lacked flavor, and the falafel were tough. However, the fried kibbeh was phenomenal. Overall, I was really surprised by the drop in food quality. This place has always been a favorite of mine, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I'm disappointed and probably won't be ordering again."

"Byblos was amazing! I actually invited a friend who is Palestinian and how I looked at the menu, I was like, omg, he will love it. When he arrived, he asked if I had chosen Byblos. Of course he was very happy about the choice. There are so many vegan options here and everyone on the table was quite a lot vegan, so it was even better. We didn't have to look through everything and make changes to the dishes, most of them were already vegan! The food was just delicious and that's really all I can say. The team there was very attentive and friendly and the wine we chose was delicious. I have no complaints. Byblos is a great place for an authentic Mediterranean meal. Thank you to the team there that it really did a great experience too!"

"The food here is really a great old Baton Rouge staple. It's consistently tasty, the service is good, usually pretty fast. I've had issues in the past with the particular meal I usually order being overcooked to my preference but the steak kebabs are tasty and tender even though they are cooked more than I prefer. They always ask how I want it cooked , my reply is always medium rare and it's always served well done. I've come to expect that because it's still the tastiest thing I think on the menu. I went back there recently for lunch , it comes with salad , rice and hummus, so I usually go in for the entire salad first to make room on the plate to cut the steak and veggies into bite size pieces. At the bottom of the salad I found a hair on the plate under the rest of the food which is immediately off putting. I told the waitress and I was so grossed out that I was finished, she brought me the check for the drink and appetizer and I left. I realize things happen but this is the second instance where I've been unhappy and no one even bothered to apologize. I guess that's a little too much to ask?"

"We came for lunch and were greeted by the owners who are a very lovely young couple. They make you feel like family. We were craving Falafel and they make it fresh daily and it was so delicious. We will be back for sure to try their Lamb Combo meal. If you are in the Dixon area you must stop by. We were happy to know they cater too. Due to the challenges of Covid and staffing, they close on Sat-Mon."

"I absolutely adore this bakery! The owners are incredibly friendly, and the sweets are just delicious! They also offer gluten-free and nut-free options, which is a pleasant surprise since these can be hard to find in traditional recipes. Mohamed and his family manage the shop, and they're always cheerful and eager to assist, especially if you're trying Persian candy for the first time, like I was. I particularly love the cream cake and cookies, but I highly recommend trying one of everything because it’s all so wonderful!"

"Me and my significant other placed an order yesterday Friday 4/8/22 to the Flowers family and as we came to pick up our order, the order was incorrect at first and the door was locked as we repeatedly tried to call the restaurant back to let them know. Shortly thereafter when we left the restaurant and made our attempt, the owner called us apologizing for the mistake on the order and stated that he would correct the order the next day for us to come pick up which is Saturday April 9th. The blessing that came about this was, not only did we come back the next day and get our corrective order, the owner didn't charge us and apologize at the same time as well as gave us an unexpected excellent order in return, unbelievable how we still have some good-hearted people in the world especially during these times.
