"Le Pain needs to improve their staff training to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. Today, as a person of color, I went in to order a pastry and a tea. The white server prepared my tea but didn't inform me that it was ready. Instead, they immediately served the white customer behind me. When I inquired about my drink, they rolled their eyes and told me it was on the far end of the counter. This confused me, as I hadn't seen anyone else asked to pick up their order from that spot, and the white customer received their drink directly. I've been a regular customer here for over a year, and I've noticed that many of the front staff often seem resentful towards customers, are slow, and frequently appear unsure of what they're doing. While their pastries are generally good, the inconsistency in customer treatment is off-putting. I would recommend avoiding this location if possible."
