"My friends and I were looking forward to our meal at Gibsons, but the overall experience was just OK. We had a 7pm reservation but did not get seated until 7:45. It was busy there but this is unacceptable, and I was embarrassed because I had suggested going there. We each ordered a drink, appetizers, shared sides, and each of us got the 10 oz filet mignon. The mashed potatoes were beyond salty but the rest of the food was OK. Bottom line, though, is I have had better meals at half the price, and probably won't go back. The one bright spot was our sever, Diana, who was great."

"Food is good for what you pay, is delivered in very quick fashion, server was attentive and they provide warm, wet cloth wash clothes to clean up with at dinners end which as I have a goatee I really appreciated. Menu is typical BBQ fare but no baby backs unfortunately. We went with the brisket sandwiches which were good. BBQ is all about the sauce and I enjoyed their hot red and my wife liked their sweet version. They appear to have a Carolina yellow as well but didn't try it. Only minor quibbles, they provide bathroom cloth hand towels instead of paper napkins which I don't mind but my wife loathes for some reason. There's also just a single unisex, one person at a time restroom for this rather large restaurant so a bit of waiting but perhaps there was another somewhere else in the building. Didn't appear to offer straws for our drinks which seems to be common here in NYC restaurants."

"We were a party of 3 and we all had the clam chowder which was thin, bland and wanting in clams. Thankfully, our lobster mac and cheese (my favorite at this restaurant, which I've been to more than 3 times) was good as ever. My friend didn't like her shrimp taco and ate just one. The churro ice cream sandwich could stand some restraint on the sugar; it was just too sweet, which is too bad because the idea is fantastic. Also, it obviously stood for some time at the pass-through because the ice cream was melted when the dessert was served to us. Note on the service: while our server was good, she was obviously new and aimed to please by checking in on us too frequently and at some point, it became intrusive. Also, the calamari was just too small of a portion even as an appetizer. It could be served as a bigger portion for $20, and not a scoopful for $12."

"Went here as a Valentine's date idea with my longtime girlfriend. The room was incredibly loud, and it was difficult to have a conversation– this was due to the music set to more of a party-level combined with the din of excited younger diner's. Our food was alright. They were out of oysters when we got there, so we swapped to the shrimp nacho's. The cheese was akin to cheap movie theater nacho cheese, the one with that plastic-ey taste. Many of the ingredients weren't dispersed well, and there were chunks of cut onions still stuck together from their time on the chopping board. Main entree's came, and my girlfriend's salmon arrived braised but raw on the interior. The squash rings, while delicious, were cold for both me and my girlfriend. We asked for the salmon to be recooked and they said they'd bring a new plate entirely. This time, the squash was warm, but salmon still wasn't cooked all the way through on the interior. This time she just ate around the raw part and left the rest. Service was good and they were nice enough to give us a discount on our meal for the undercooked fish trouble, but our bill was still $100+. Expect an atmosphere more akin to a full service cafeteria hall or crab house– fun with friends to drink and hangout (though conversing might be difficult) but not the best for dining with those you want to date, impress, or have some more serious conversations with."

"Food is always excellent. The service is always wonderful. They are attentive, not pushy. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Price point is high end but you are aware of that before you go. I think the interior could use an update but its not terrible. The noise level is fairly high but not intolerable"

"The atmosphere and decor are absolutely enchanting, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful evening with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain all the flavors and menu options. The menu offers a wide variety, including pasta, fries, wraps, pizza, and more. We ordered pizzas, pastas, fries, and garlic bread, and everything was fantastic—cooked to perfection. I would love to return every weekend! Keep up the great work! "I enlisted G&H to cater my 40th birthday event at my home. Everything was top notch!! Once I filled out the event builder on their website, Paola got back to me the next day and offered to put together a menu. She was able to put together a menu that included stationary yet socially polite appetizers, buffet dinner and socially polite desserts. Paola was very accommodating with the minor adjustments I had to make due to a food allergy. Aside from the food being well presented and tasting delicious- the most amazing part of the experience was the catering staff!! Known as “The A Team,” Astrid, Michael, Craig and were courteous, attentive and efficient in their service. It truly added to the success of the event and I look forward to working with them in future!! Thank you!"

"We joined friends for a light dinner before a performance at the neighboring Joyce Theater. Our first server filled our water glasses and then never returned to our table. Another server eventually arrived after we asked what we presumed was the manager to have someone come and take our order. Our server was pleasant enough and seemed amenable to getting our orders to the table so that we'd have plenty of time in advance of the show (we arrived 1.25 hours in advance of showtime .Our table of 5 just ordered a collection of starter dishes, three of which were relatively simple salads. Two of our party ordered a glass of wine each. The bar wasn't busy at all but the wine took at least 20 minutes to arrive. Our simple food order took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and we had to check a couple of times with the manager as we could not get the attention of our server despite the fact that the restaurant was only moderately busy.Our food was okay but our appetizer salads were stuffed into bowls that were far too small making it a challenge to eat without spilling the contents on to the table. Our fries were fine (but really, who screws up french fries? . I can't comment on the entree meals but there was nothing particularly noteworthy about our starter meals.The restaurant has a clean and contemporary appearance but is very loud and cramped. It was a hot day and several of our party were feeling the heat (sliding window panels were open and ceiling fans were on but this was not enough to make it comfortable on this particularly hot day .We've visited plenty of smaller restaurants around NYC and nearly all of them had pretty decent if not excellent service and in many cases exceeded our food expectations both in preparation and presentation. Seamore's is a notable exception for a fairly new NYC restaurant. Exceptionally poor service, no apparent management, cramped tables (do not take a table in the middle of the restaurant , and a run-of-the mill food experience. Avoid this restaurant unless you have no issue with exceedingly slow service (even when it's not particularly busy and have no problem paying a premium price for decent but otherwise pretty average food. The very substandard service may be a consequence of the difficulty restaurants are having getting qualified front of house staff. The owners should nonetheless do themselves a favor and replace pretty much all the managerial and wait staff in this restaurant. Couldn't be much worse than what's already there."

"for an event for tyler cameron (which is the only reason why I believe that people at all know or want to come to this place). I'm early at 10 o'clock with no line there. bouncer didn't check my id or vaccination card. I scanned the ticket. it cost a drink with a gf while the amount started to come. right in front of the DJ stand is close and hit one of the bouncer called snoop. very nice. respectful and did his job, but not at all aggressive. Honestly, one of the sweetest bouncers I met. the amount began to get a little pushy and came this new bouncer who was extremely aggressive and rude. the people sneaked and tried to get past the rope. when the time went on, it seemed as if he let his friends go back and forth as they liked. I came several times through the crowd in the man and he pushed back very strongly. his friend went by and it seemed like he wanted to flex, so he took me and tried to accompany me from no good reason. another man at the front door asked what happened because I was not contradictory or caused a scene. I said how terrible the bouncer was and they didn't kick me out. after that my gf and I still had a good time. I would not recommend to come to a packed event with security as these. I wonder how they treat people who actually cause a jerk. crazy love for snoop tho?"

"my guest and I enjoyed our dinner at seamore. beautiful in the interior and active bar scene. we are just there in time for happy hour and have half-priced glasses of good wein and a dozen oysters. next came the kalamari in a small basket. delicious and properly salted. we both had the beginning of the day that was on the sea. it comes with a selection of sauce and cauliflower, broccolini, quinoa as side. I liked the curry sauce, but was not wild about the scalion sauce (too sour). fish was perfectly cooked. attentive service and articles nicely expensive."

"If you want to catch COVID or something else, dine here! capacity all crammed into of the entire space! Tables too close to each other. Barriers between tables are open at the bench seat sides so you’re eating feet away without protection from the table next to you. I supported them with take out and crazy high tips for the past year and treated poorly when dining in. Hostess was not nice and had a bad attitude. I arrived minutes early and was told if I get seated the minute table limit starts then or I could wait until my reservation time and then be seated. Table was empty, it was an early reservation and what did it really matter if I sat down ten minutes early? Perhaps I might have had an additional cocktail and increase the total spent? Poorly managed"

"My go to healthy food stop in Wburg. They have the most delicious selection of soups, juices and sandwiches. Prices are not cheap here, but I feel that the owners use quality ingredients as I feel great after eating the food. I love the ginger tumeric shots, and the baked tofu sandwich and green morning wrap are delightful. 5/5 recommend if you are looking for a spot with clean healthy ingredients."

"I visited this restaurant for Afternoon Tea with a friend and we opted for the Tea Service for Two, priced at $66. This included a two-cup teapot for each of us, allowing us to choose from about 100 different tea flavors. We also received three types of sandwiches each (six triangles total), two macaroons of our choice, two mini cookies, two mini tea cakes, and two scones with raspberry jam and clotted cream. They offer three vegetarian sandwich options, one of which is an egg salad sandwich. Everything tasted excellent and we felt quite full by the end of our meal. The included tea flavors were priced at $8 or less from their menu, while specialty teas can be ordered for an extra cost. They only accept reservations for groups of six or more, so we experienced a bit of a wait for our afternoon tea. Once we were seated, we relaxed for almost two hours without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a fantastic tea parlor. Highly recommend!"

"I used to be a regular customer, visiting almost every day of the week. Unfortunately, I accidentally placed a takeout order at a different location, and when I explained this to the staff, the woman there shouted at me in front of my small daughters. She refused to cancel my order, claiming it was too expensive to do so. I told her I was a loyal customer, but she called me a liar. I then contacted the company to request a cancellation, and they assured me that someone would get back to me. Now, eight weeks later, I’m still waiting. I may have lost my $10.83 this time, but I certainly won't be returning. Shame on you and your rude staff!"

"Very strange place. I ordered for delivery online and not only does it take over an hour to deliver .5 miles away, but there’s a $9.99 delivery charge tacked on, making an already $11 smoothie $22. On top of that, you don’t have the option to cancel because there’s not a single phone number online for this exact location. The juice generation numbers I tried calling either went to voicemail or I was hung up. Very strange!"

"Great food, had in the past the winter salad, steak sandwich, chicken avocado panini all very good with excellent ingredients. Some seriously top notch stuff. The Thai bowl was a cold bowl of quinoa and mushy cold vegetables that were steamed in another life with a side of peanut sauce. Not bad but definitely not what I was expecting.. just a little odd. Would be better with stir fry vegetables or something not squash and zucchini."
