"We love sitting outside at Moku and the atmosphere is great, inside and out. I love that you can make reservations on OpenTable, easily and are seated as soon as it is it's time for your reservation. We find the music a bit too loud, inside and out as we like to bring friends from out of town here and enjoy having a good conversation but sometimes the music is too loud to hear each other. In general, we like the area and have come to Moku around 5 times in the last year."

I was the only one who ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, while the other six in my family were delighted to choose from the rest of the menu! "The food was equally impressive! We tried the Kalua pork and pineapple jalapeño pizza, along with the proletariat, and I ordered the keiki saimin for my daughter. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was enhanced by @mc_migz, who entertained us with an amazing range of music from island reggae to covers of Kendrick Lamar and Biggie. The vibe was incredibly relaxed. I highly recommend Monkey Pod! The food is a solid 5/5, the service is 5/5, and the atmosphere offers a modern, upscale feeling with a casual and welcoming touch, also rated 5/5. Be sure to stop by before or after visiting Makena State Park Beach—you won’t regret it!"

But we spent $200 for 4 of us on portions that were small and food that was average. I'm sorry to write this, as I always liked this place. Did the management change?"
