"The tables are quite small and positioned closely together, which creates a noisy ambiance. I found myself occasionally leaning toward my companions to hear them, as another table was just 2 to 3 feet away. I'm a big fan of good bread—the kind that's worth the carbs—and when a restaurant pays attention to quality bread, it bodes well for the meal. This place served really good bread to start. The butter was perfectly soft at room temperature. The octopus was above average but didn’t stand out. My friend enjoyed the bone marrow, while I found the croquettes to be better than what I've had at most places, despite not being a croquettes fan. The sea bass, however, was excellent. My friends seemed pleased with their desserts. The wine selection was interesting; they seemed to have a good variety, but for some reason, my Sauvignon Blanc tasted sweet, which left me perplexed. If you're familiar with wines, you might understand the confusion. I even wondered if I was served the wrong glass. I wrapped up the evening with a 12-year-old Japanese whiskey served over a block of ice. Our waiter was a nice guy who made an effort, though his timing was a bit off at first and he came across as somewhat impatient. Overall, though, he did well. The main reason I can't give this place five stars is that the evening started off on a sour note due to the service; this became the first topic of discussion at our table. For instance, when I arrived, the host at the front desk basically said, "They're over there; just keep walking and you'll find them." When I sat down, my friends also remarked on how dismissive he was when they made their table request. Although the restaurant was busy that evening, it wasn't full, and there were plenty of available tables. I'm looking forward to returning to try the outdoor space. I believe that if management could enhance their service quality, this could become one of the best restaurants in Atlanta at this price point."

"Came for my wife’s birthday and we couldn’t have picked a better place! From the hostess to the waiter, they ensured to acknowledge my wife and her birthday. The way they personalized the experience was a nice touch. We had David as our server and he was top shelf! Super knowledgeable about the menu. You can see that he pours himself into his job. The timing of the appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert was perfect. It’s like they knew when you wanted your next course without even having to tell them. The service staff is overly attentive. There’s a couple of guys constantly walking by to take your dishes and replace your silverware. The upper level where we sat is tight seating and staff running by your table all the time. Even still, they don’t bombard you with status checks. They let you have your space and are careful to read the table before checking in on you. Because we’re foodies, we wanted to try a bit of everything. First you must get the bread service. The bread was delightful. Nice crust on the outside. Warm and soft on the inside. 3 spreads come with it. Sweet, savory, and a ricotta spread Appetizer Wagyu ribs with worcestershire and chimichurri Wedge salad Organic iceberg, marinated vidalias tomatoes buttermilk ranch, bacon, french blue, egg 8oz A5 Kobe steak. Cooked to perfection Lobster spaghetti with tomato pomodori, basil For dessert you have to try the Baked Alaska which is chocolate hazelnut cake, espresso ice cream, meringue The birthday girl got her own dessert. A chocolate swirl cake. Overall, this visit was incredible. We can’t wait to go back!"

"We wanted to eat somewhere close to the Rivers Edge park since we were attending a concert that evening. Made a reservation online and showed up a few minutes later than scheduled. Walked into an almost empty restaurant and the male host greeted us seemingly annoyed and asked if we had a reservation (which was hilarious considering the whole place was empty). We got sat and he said that it would be a few minutes before our server could stop by because she just got double sat. Totally understandable I was a waitress for many years in college and know it sucks when you get sat multiple times or are the only server on the clock early in the evening. 20 minutes later, a different server shows up and eventually greets us. Very nice young lady who said she would be right back with our two beers. 10 minutes later, our drinks show up. We ask if we can order and she happily writes it all down and said she would be right back with our appetizer of a bread basket. 15 min later, she stops by and asks if we got our bread because our entrees are already ready. She could have looked at our empty table and realized that there was no bread, then asked if we still want it. We declined and said we'd like our burgers no problem just take the bread off our tab. The fries were undercooked and greasy. $18 burger was fine. Never came back to check on us. Had to waive her down to ask for our check. Of course, the bread appetizer was still on our bill and had to ask her to remove it, which added another 10 minutes to the experience. The whole time in this restaurant, there were only four tables (including us), so I'm not sure how the service could have been so awful. Food was just ok. I have no idea how we had such a bummer experience at this restaurant it looks so nice and the menu looked great online. Should have saved $40 on our $70 tab and ate at the chicken and waffles place next door."
