"Rating: 4.9/5 Parking: There is quite a lot of parking depending on if the other restaurants/stores around busy or not. Restaurant: It is medium sized, good for families of 4 to 6, or if you choose to take someone out on a date. There is a large tv, where they can show you the different items on the menu as it will be served to you. The employee's there were really nice and were helpful towards seating/comforting us. I could tell the cashier, fairly large lad, was tired from a long day. During our setting there was around 6-7 DoorDash orders, that's when I knew I made the right choice to come here to try their food. I was actually headed somewhere else but their menu was limited, so we chose this restaurant to come. Food: Oh my! I don't know where to start really. I've had quite a lot of Halal Persian food, and Middle Eastern food. But no one comes as close in Southern California in my opinion towards the taste. I highly recommend eating in person and not ordering. First I ordered some dolma, which was not too bad. It was fairly tasteful, but tasted like any other dolma. That's the only reason why I took 0.1 point off the overall score. But what caught me off guard was when I ordered the Spicy Chicken Kabob, it was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot emphasize how good this meal was. I was fasting, so I don't know because of that I was loving it, but my mother wasn't fasting and she loved it just as much. The chicken's flavors were perfect, the seasoning was gentle on the spice, perfect on the salt, and it was so damn succulent inside, I was drooling while eating it. My family ordered the shish kabobs and they were succulent, again, just as much. I was honestly not expecting it, because most restaurants make it dry. Which makes me push away, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. With the Kabob, comes rice, salad with their homemade dressing (which literally a lady ordered 6 cups of and left, literally by itself , chili on the side, and lastly hummus on the side with bread. I wanted to order another plate, even though I know I can't finish it. I really do hope the chef, or recipe doesn't change, and I can go here often. Please continue to cook it the same way, please. I wanted to bring out the chef and give him a kiss honestly, maybe I am overhyping it. But please someone go and try it in person, and let me know how it tastes when it's freshly hot and ready. I will go again, just to see if they are consistent. Price: Very fair, I cannot complain at all. I think my plate was around $19? With 5-6 breast chicken pieces, and the rest of the items I have stated. I couldn't complain, if the prices are fair, enough quantity and quality? Take me again! "I really like the inside decor upon entering! It's the woody feeling that caught my eye. The restaurant wasn't overpacked when I visited. Just about the right amount of people. Their bread was so yummy. It was a little crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside. Dipped that with their bread sauce (I am not sure what it was but has tomato flavor in it for sure , it was just wonderful! I definitely had too much bread and can't eat much for the main dishes. We also had babaganoush. It's smoked eggplant puree, seasonal with tahini olive oil and garlic. It was good, but not great to me though I can tell that it was freshly made. Main entrees we had Adana Kebab (ground lamb with crushed red peppers; chargrilled and Chicken Kebab with yogurt (chicken was marinated and chargrilled; served with garlic toasted bread and yogurt at the bottom of the dish . They were both really spicy to me. When I first ate it, I thought it wasn't too bad but the spice kicked in in a few short seconds. Adana Kebab tasted really delicious. Lamb could sometimes be a challenging dish to cook, but they did a great job. The sides of rice and vegetables were rather mediocre. Chicken Kebab with yogurt was great as well. However, meat wise, I preferred Adana Kebab. Portions were definitely more than needed and we had leftovers (it could also be because we consumed too much bread . I probably shouldn't be because I was overly stuffed but I got a dessert anyway really just wanted to try it. I chose the rice pudding. It was decent. A little sweet. The portion was huge (I am glad that I wasn't the only one eating it... ... To me, this rice pudding tasted like it was pre made and made it frozen though. Service was fine some are more friendly than others. However, they charged my final bill wrong so I wasn't too happy about it. This place is pretty comparable to Cafe Istanbul, but somehow less known."
