"Chaat is always a wonderful experience! We are loyal clients for 10 years already and enjoying it every single time! The quality is always the best and food is delicious! Service is great and fast! The owner (Mr. Chito) is friendly and sweetheart man, we see him every time when we are dining in, he is very on top of that! He is so talented serving such amazing and delicious food while running this business for so many years, he always works really hard on that. We can tell. Our favorite dishes on the menu are garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and masala fries. We haven’t experienced such a delicious meal anywhere else. This place is the best!"

I visited this place a few times and tried both veg non veg food both cuisine where fantastic. Dine in is limited, but you will not regret. Pahadi murgh kababab and murgh kali mirch we? Chicken dum biryani best in Nj Makko Di Roti Sarshon ka Sag , veg panner dum biryani, Jeera chili aloo, Chole Punjabi, Panner Kurchan , Dahi wale kabab also liked it. This place rarely serves RUMALI Roti today in the Indian restaurant. Loved there fast and approached service. Eat spicy, make them spices like you like. "As soon as you enter, you might not notice the separation between the market and the restaurant. I absolutely loved the food! Here’s what I ordered: veggie samosas (3 pieces) served with a tamarind and spicy cilantro sauce, lentil soup, garlic naan, and Aloo Gobi (potatoes and cauliflower, which I chose with mild spices) alongside saffron rice. The staff were incredibly patient and explained the menu terms to me. It seems like a family-run place, and everyone had a great attitude. The ambiance is relaxed, with a TV playing Indian music videos, which added to the entertainment. Parking was easy with no hassle at all! The seating arrangement can feel a bit cramped, as the space is split between the market and the restaurant, bringing you closer to your neighbors than you might expect. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"I'm glad me and my friends stumbled upon this place after an amazing day of hanging out in San Francisco. I got the Hella Vegan burrito with sweet potato fries added into it. It was absolutely incredible. The complex flavors were impeccable, exquisite, and foodgasmic. Also I had the BEST samosas I have ever tried in my life. "I enjoyed my lunch at Kurry Zone. I'm new to Indian cuisine, so I was in a mood to try something new. Kurry Zone was highly recommended by a friend who is from India, and who suggested that I indulge in the buffet. It appears, however, that the buffetisn't always available, which was a bit disappointing. I had thought that I could sample a few dishes to get a better idea offuture delights. As it was, there was no buffet. I did get Saag Paneer and naan, which were both tasty. Kurry Zone is clean,prices are fair, and was reasonably busy for a midweek afternoon."

"I like this place, but I must come back to rethink again because both times I have gedified at this place, the restaurant is absolutely empty working with only one guy and both times I was told that many of the menu points are not possible for them to make them, they have all the ingredients, but they refused to make most of the items so that I choose from a smaller menu. It happened twice. The guy's always in a hurry to get me and my party out. Bad service."

"I never thought I would have unspicy Indian food, but this place proved me SO wrong. If I could leave 0 stars and get a refund for this overpriced plate of nothingness- I'd definitely demand both. Everything looks as it should, but it's like they've never heard of basic salt pepper. The food was absolutely BLAND! For $35 we got one plate of the Malai Chicken with Tlali for the extra $4, a side of rice, a soda, a side of garlic naan and one rasmalai, which was sticky, but in a gross almost gummy fashion, and almost made me toss the meal up. It was horrific. Do not drop by, do not pass go, just move along if you're at the packing house and looking for food. I've got an upset stomach just remembering how gross the rasmalai's texture was. Never again.Update: my boyfriend was so grossed out he had to empty his stomach and, as they say, toss the cookies as soon as he got home."

"First time in this established San Mateo Casual Dining Establishment. You order in the register and quickly bring your food. It was absolutely shameful. Maybe a little oily, especially the paratha, but it was a splurgical night and totally delicious! The Modern Times Sour beer from the bar that is connected to the restaurant has really complicated the flavors. I had cauliflower instead of rice in one of my dishes and it was fantastic. A great experience. It would have been fun to have some veganized Indian Sweet for dessert, but they were all milk based. I was pretty happy anyway. Not cheap, but generous portions and delicious. I will return!"

"I am not familiar with Indian cuisine, yet. I have seen this venue several times and decided today to stop in and try it. I chose the lamb keema. It was delicious. Just the right amount of spice. I absolutely demolished the lamb and the lentils. I also tried the mango lassi. If my dish was spicier I would have needed the lassi. It tasted like a mango yogurt drink. Very good. Very refreshing. I am eager to go back and try additional items. I will try a Thali platter next time and perhaps the chicken Kadhai rice dish. They even do big family meals that will feed the whole family with all of their wondrous items."

"I wish I had tried something other than the usual Tikka Masala—it was decent, with a perfectly sized portion, not too much or too little. I also ordered the Lamb Keema, which I wasn’t familiar with beforehand, but it turned out to be ground lamb with lots of potatoes. If you’re nearby and craving Indian food, this place is worth a visit, but I recommend exploring other options on the menu."

"I've been a fan of Mela Tandoori since its previous location in the Tenderloin. My friends and I enjoy the wide variety of choices, the quantity and quality of the food, and the great service. Its location within walking distance of Civic Center performance venues is also a plus. Parking along Golden Gate Avenue east of Van Ness Avenue has never been an issue for me. Mela is a great choice for delicious and healthy Indian cuisine!"

Whether you are looking fir weekend mornings breakfast or brunch or lunch (South Indian), this is your place. We had a plate of Idli and Mysore Masala Dosa with two chai. Sambhar and chutnis were delicious and the masala dosa was outstanding. There were several take outs orders too and several thali, they even had several biryani options that I plan to try in my next trip. I am certainly coming back here!!!"

"Great potential with location, ambience and the chefs original, yet authentic tastes. However, all this is, undone by sub-par front of the house game. We arrived few minutes prior to our reservation, yet were not seated till 20 min past our reservation. Delays happen, the host could have made the wait better by offering seats at the bar or comp drinks while we waited. This is the same restaurant have a 15 min rule to give away your reservation if the guest arrives late. We patiently waited and after getting seated, the waiter continuously pressured and pushed us to order within 5 min and ordering too much. All of which is fine, but given our 25 min wait for our table, waiter could have been a bit more thoughtful to ensure our overall experience was worth the 100 a person bill."

"Didn't know that M Lounge became Mumbai local. The biggest advantage for this restaurant is it's prime location. You won't miss this restaurant while walking on 2nd street. Aam panna This was supposed to be a mango drink(non alcoholic). They got itwrong Mixed alcohol. Later the waitress corrected it. Don't expect fresh mango, it is mango syrup. Chicken Biryani Ok Although they did their best in presenting the biryani(in a hot bowl covered with naan), Chicken wasn't marinated well. As aresult chicken tasted raw and no salt, but rice had all the spices. This restaurant nailed the ambience but there is still moreroom for improvement in the food quality. P.S.
