"After receiving a recommendation for Decoy from the Lakehouse, my family and I decided to give it a try for dinner. We arrived at 7:45 PM with plans to catch the laser light show on the lake at 8:15. Although we were informed that seating was on a first-come, first-served basis, a server asked us to vacate our table, claiming that another family had been waiting for 45 minutes. After discussing the situation with the manager, I couldn’t find a satisfactory resolution, so I made the decision to leave with my child. The manager later apologized and offered to assist us in finding a new table, but by that time, I was too upset to stay. I spoke with the general manager, who confirmed that tables downstairs were indeed open seating. Even though they tried to make amends, the experience left me feeling discouraged, and I chose to depart. Karen at the Lakehouse front desk tried to help by offering us a room upgrade and in-room dining from Decoy. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. Despite their efforts to rectify the situation, the initial treatment we received left a lasting negative impression."
