"If I could rate this place with negative eleven stars I would! I was completely disappointed and am considering placing a lawsuit against this hotel for the violations of the Americans with disabilities act (ADA). My friend that was accompanying meto my lunch reservation, Suffered an Epileptic seizure. Once we got upstairs to the floor of the rooftop garden restaurant, wepassed the restroom section and we did see a panel of receptionists and told them we had a reservation at noon at therestaurant. They told us not to worry. We entered the restroom and as I was trying to cool and comfort my friend, a Hispanicaverage-built, brown hair brown eyed early thirty 's woman used the restroom and starts to listen in to our conversation. When Imentioned it to my friend she should take a rinse from her neck down to feel better and look better for pictures she will betaking at our reservations she interjected and told us the showers are meant for hotel guests and spa clients. She also told uswe need to leave the restroom because we are taking too long and all these invisible guests will be interrupted by us. When Itold her we are dining with you guys she would not have any of it. She called security. Security then had me walk to thereservations desk to clarify and check my reservation. Once my reservation was in, I ensured my friend was well enough to walkover to the table. My friend was even given back the wrong change when she paid, plus she was charged for something she did notwant. Terrible service! Wild Horses could drag me to this restaurant or hotel Again!"

"Gabriel Archer Tavern is resting on very tired laurels. I booked dinner for 6 for the day before Mother 's Day. Our server was underage and could tell us nothing about the wines on the list. This is a winery and servers should be old enough to speak knowledgeably about wines. The charcuterie board was meager and served with three half-slices of cold toast. Dinner was delivered by someone from the bar. Rather than knowing which dinner went to which diner, he loudly announced who gets the crabcake, who gets the hangar steak... which was crude for $35 per plate dinners. The portions were skimpy and did not satisfy my guests. The hangar steak was raw and tough, served over a small scoop of mashed potatoes with a single spring of broccolini. The crab cakes showed little evidence of lump crab meat. Our server was not attentive and never asked if we wanted a second drink. We asked to order dessert and inquired as to the flavors of ice cream. Chocolate, vanilla, and sorbet, she said. What kind of sorbet we asked. It 's a non-dairy dessert. Which doesn 't answer the question does it. Desserts were delivered in the same manner. Who gets the chocolate ice cream, who gets the cheesecake? And then, my husband 's coffee was delivered ice cold. Not lukewarm. Ice cold. I planned this outing weeks in advance and the experience was disappointing and embarrassing. And the bill for this? Over $400. I do not recommend wasting your money at Gabriel Archer Tavern. You 'd be better off at a chain restaurant."
