"I came across all the positive reviews and press about this place, so I thought I'd give it a try. I just left about an hour ago, and I was shocked by my experience. First of all, the floor was disgusting—sticky everywhere you step. The young woman who took my order seemed to be somewhere else entirely, clearly uninterested. After receiving my order, I approached the counter multiple times to ask for a spoon, saying "excuse me" 3 or 4 times, but she never returned. The cupcake I got was a letdown, and I couldn't even finish it; it tasted stale, like it had been sitting around for days. I'm extremely disappointed in this establishment. There are far better cake and treat shops in Birmingham that offer much better customer service. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Consider this your warning."
