"The staff were friendly, and the water refills were adequate. However, we experienced a significant wait for our food—around an hour and twenty minutes. I started with the Pho Special, which I would rate a 3 out of 10. It tasted more like hot water than broth, containing sliced meatballs, three pieces of tendon, chopped cilantro, and some tripe, but it lacked any depth of flavor. No amount of hoisin sauce or sriracha could rescue it. The bean sprouts and basil were somewhat fresh, but nothing noteworthy. The chicken wings were a better option, earning a 7 out of 10. They were tasty and seemed fresh, and the kids enjoyed them as well. The egg rolls received a 5 out of 10; their filling was rather unremarkable, and they appeared to be entirely vegetarian, lacking any meat. On a positive note, the spring rolls scored an 8 out of 10. They were delicious, featuring a fresh wrapper and crunchy vegetables, and the meat and shrimp were quite good. The dipping sauce also had a nice kick, which I appreciated—definitely a highlight! The Kaopoon was rated a 5 out of 10. It didn't have enough broth to really absorb the flavors. Although it was decent, the meat selection was limited and there were too many vegetables. The Kaw Paw with pork also received a 5 out of 10; it included green beans, bamboo, and meat, but the fried egg was slightly overcooked for my taste. Its flavor was primarily just salty. Finally, the beef larb, which I rated a disappointing 3 out of 10, was medium spicy but lacked any bitterness. If it had more flavor, it could have been quite good. It might have been better if served raw, as the cooked version ended up tasting bland. Overall, would I return to this restaurant? Probably not."
