"I have ordered so much food from them several times in the last 4 years, they should be able to find a good review from me earlier. we moved away from jc and picked up dinner tonight because I remembered it was good earlier. the huh 555 was completely clogged, but I would have given them another chance if it had not been for their terrible customer service tonight. they asked me to bring that food back and only then would they replace it with a fresh batch. I said I live 12 miles away and did a 25 miles drive just to pick up, they forget every sense of appreciation that man said he could do nothing, although I have been a long time ago. so much that work in jersey city, we have often also made company orders. I mocked him by asking if I had tasted eating on the streets before he would go back home, he actually said yes? I am angry and amused at the moment. talk about people in the restaurant business do not know basic customer service!"

"Honestly, I really enjoy the food at this place because of its incredible flavor and taste. It reminds me of the Delhi Palace location in Flagstaff, so I’m thrilled to find a restaurant as good as that one near Gilbert. You can't go wrong with the curries here, and don’t overlook the tomato soup—it’s fantastic! You won’t find another excellent tomato soup at any other Indian restaurant in Phoenix. I highly recommend the Gobi Manchurian; while it can sometimes be a bit soggy, my most recent visit had it perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice. The service was good too; in my experience, it’s definitely better than other Indian restaurants I’ve been to."

"Ordered Baby corn karampodi, Schezwan Veg Noodles, Chola Batura. Appetizer was tasty. Batura channa tasted as usual. Schezwan noodles could have been more flavourful and balanced. Good ambience, customer service and orders were delivered pretty fast for a Saturday Noon. Make sure you specify the spice level to have a great meal!"

"Good ambience and music, but not so good food and service. Among everything we ordered, only Apollo fish was excellent, rest was not meant for our palates. It was moderate but won?t order these dishes elsewhere. If Mandakini has goats and Avakai Biryani for the first time, so can?t much comment on how we were?t expects sweetness in a spicy colhapuri dish and so much pickle in Avakai Biryani. Tandoori Pomfret was served on a Sizzler dish, but no salt or spices there. Lemon is a must with fish so please do not skip it to use. Once again, the service would have been better by simply asking? Is everything okay? Or do you need anything else? We had to wait until our meal was finished to order Mango Lassi and Lemon Soda. No complaints on the portions as they are large enough to share."

"order online via the website of the restaurants listed here in Google search. the post said they'll notify me as soon as the food is ready. after 45 minutes no answer was received. I tried to call a few times, no one chose the call. So went to the restaurant. there was no one. After he cleaned the bell a few times, someone came out and he said they don't accept online orders. but I said her website has taken order and calculated my credit card. he went in and came back after a few minutes and said owner is not accept online order and asked me to call the number in the post. I always called and nobody reacted. after some time, this person recommended to go out and talk to the owner of the kitchen entrance. when I went there, the person there (maybe own) started screaming, and said I shouldn't come out of the kitchen entry that was far open! and I said the person from the lobby asked me to do this, and he began to shout his hired also. he asked to come back to the lobby. there he denied that an online order was placed. after a quantity retaliation, he accepted that an order was placed and they received money for it. it was up to an hour. they had none of the ordered items. they had to change what they have! it was really stressful! I would never go back and would not recommend anyone to go there unless they want to go through a war for this average food."

"Very disappointed in the quality of food and service that has happened with this restaurant. We ordered food that took way too long to be made, then when it was ready it was all in to-go containers on a tray waiting for us at the counter. The person behind the counter just rang a bell and yelled self service for us to come get our food as another table was having theirs delivered by a young a young lady working there. (And she kept tending to them through our visit there .We weren 't offered water, but by the looks of it we would 've had to pay additionally for bottled water anyway. Everything they provided was disposable utensils, and paper plates. Before the pandemic all the items we ordered would 've come out to around $45 before tip.After the price hike of everything due to the pandemic and the included gratuity (why did we even tip, nobody was serving us and we didn 't even get real dishes and silverware, or a glass of water?! everything came out to almost SEVENTY Dollars. I am all for supporting whatever finances needed to maintain the small business but the quality of food has dropped significantly,(the food was not as great as I know it has been, not even close you took your service staff away, and I can 't even get real utensils to cut my food with.Needless to say I will not be returning."

"Hema's used to be our favorite restaurant on Devon. We ordered takeout from them all throughout the pandemic and it was a real life saver. Sadly though, the quality has declined. Not sure if it's new owners or what. Our last order was kind of disappointing, it took two hours to deliver and was cold on arrival. Additionally, we were missing the garlic naan which is usually a highlight of the meal. I tried calling to ask for the naan to be taken off the bill, but the person answering the phone asked me to hold and hung up on me. It seems like the recipes have changed as well, this order had a lot more oil pooling on the top and seemed less fresh than previous orders. Honestly y'all, I love Indian food but there's so much good competition I'm just going to try all other other ones until I find my new favorite and go with them. Some solid contenders out there and life's too short to spend good cash on a disappointing experience."

"Driving back home from Hartford to the Boston area, my wife searched Google for a place to eat off I 84, and Flavors of Nawab was her excellent choice. The reviews were a little overwhelmingly positive, which left us a little suspicious: Did they hire an unscrupulous firm to make up reviews? Turns out, it's just that good.The food and service are top notch. Everything we ordered was a little different from other places, in the way that every family has their own recipes, their own take on classic dishes. But more importantly, everything was delicious.My wife ordered the mutton korma, and we shared the pani puri appetizer, palak paneer, and their home made mint lime drink, all wonderful. Some people might be a little hesitant about the thin sauce that comes with the pani puri: it smells a little sulfurous, but don't be discouraged. It tastes fantastic.The acid from the lime and the cooling from the mint helped with the spiciness, but even without that, the flavors would have kept me digging in. The entrées alone would have earned the 5 star rating, but it all worked so perfectly together.Dessert was something I had never tried: falooda with ice cream. The high quality but straightforward Ice cream with a red syrup was on top of a delicious pudding with, I think, noodles mixed in! Sounds weird to this American, but it was great, and made a nice pairing, different textures, different temperatures, different flavors...And if all this wasn't enough, as we were driving away, they chased us down... my wife had left her purse, and they sprinted across their parking lot to make sure we didn't drive off!We pass this way frequently, driving from the Boston area to points south and west, and I look forward to trying more of their menu.There is no aspect of this place that is anything other that fabulous.TL:DR Eat here. It's really good.Vegetarian options: They have an excellent assortment of vegetarian options (vegan, I'm not so sure about .Kid friendliness: They have a nice, boring kids menu French fries, chicken tenders, and the like to satisfy boring but picky kids' palates, while the parents can get something different and lovely. For the more adventurous kids, they also can adjust the spice levels, so you don't melt your children's faces off. :"

"Additionally, the food is served on paper plates and in deli containers, which is rather off-putting. The prices are outrageous, especially given the portion sizes. The curries, in particular, contain very little meat, and most dishes lack the depth of flavor that authentic Indian cuisine should have. If a restaurant charges a high price, patrons rightfully expect the dishes to justify that cost. I always leave feeling a bit cheated after dining here. On a positive note, our server was pleasant, and the Apollo Fish was flavorful (though still overpriced for the portion size). Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant and personally would not choose to eat here again."
