"We decided to try out the only Mexican restaurant open on Sunday midday, as we had passed by it many times before. The restaurant wasn't anything special, but that's almost a compliment in this case. It's a typical California Mexican food joint that used to be everywhere, offering a satisfying meal for a fair price. However, what sets this place apart is the extremely high prices. It's double what you would expect to pay at a traditional Mexican restaurant. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. My wife's carnitas had a strange sauce on it, and my chile relleno and enchilada were just average. The service was average, and the decor was dated. The prices are hard to justify for what you get."
