"After he took and delivered our drink order—two margaritas, two sodas, and an iced tea—he took an unusually long time to come back for our food order. Then we waited 40 minutes (or possibly longer) for our meals. Almost half an hour in, he came over to inform us that our food would be out in about five minutes, but sadly, that wasn't the case. It took at least another 15 minutes. We could see him running around, clearly stressed and rushed.
We didn't complain or ask for anything until he finally served our food, which was just a couple of minor requests. The process of paying the bill was a complete disaster! We had requested that the four of us at one end of the table be put on one check while the other three, sitting on the other end, had their own check. They also ordered some food to go, and Vincent assured us it would be no problem.
Unfortunately, our checks were all mixed up. Our brother handed the server his credit card without checking the bill, but when I looked at ours, I realized we were being charged for items that should have been on the other check. He had already run their card and couldn't correct it. It became quite a confusing situation as I pointed out what was missing from our bill and what should not have been there. Vincent seemed to understand how we wanted it split, which was simple—four on the right side of the table and three on the left. He genuinely wanted to help, but since he had already processed their payment, it complicated things. We ultimately decided to just pay our bill and sort it out later.
On a positive note, the food was great! We love CPK!"
