"One of my new favorites! The menu is authentic and the service is quick. Their unique twist on many classic dishes is delightful. The chili pots are outstanding, loaded with lots of onions, garlic, peppers, and aromatics—simply delicious! For greens, I love the choy sum with garlic, water spinach with preserved bean curd, and stir-fried cabbage. The garlic eggplant is also fantastic; it’s not overly sweet like many others I've tried. Other favorites of mine include the crushed potatoes, spicy bean curd skin, spicy and sour bean sprouts, and bean curd skin with jalapeños. While I'm not as fond of the tofu steak, salt and pepper tofu, and string beans, they are still tasty. I wasn't impressed with the tofu steak initially, but it turned out to be quite enjoyable the next day. I love the salt and pepper tofu, but I wish it had more spice; it tends to be on the milder side when it comes to hot peppers and onions, and it could use a bit more salt. My only issue is with the rice, which I find tasteless and overly sticky. This may not bother many people, and it’s not a dealbreaker for me, but I prefer the distinct taste and texture of perfectly cooked jasmine rice—which I often have at home. Overall, this is a fantastic place for anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine. I'm excited to explore all the vegetarian options!"
