"The hot links are surprisingly one of the standout items on the menu. They’re flavorful, spicy without being overwhelming, and come in generous portions. The brisket is decent, but I would suggest going for the burnt ends instead; they’re a solid take on this Kansas City classic. The pulled pork is alright, but it’s not the best I’ve had. The wings are fantastic if you enjoy smoked wings, and my family also loves the half chicken.
As for sides, the bourbon corn (off the cob in a spicy cream sauce), mac and cheese, and hush puppies are the best choices. The cornbread isn’t great, so opt for the hush puppies instead, especially since you get a huge portion. I found the Brussels sprouts unappealing the one time I ordered them. The coleslaw was just okay the first time, but good (though a bit spicy) on subsequent visits. The BBQ sauce is quite good, with the spicy version being the better choice (it's not overly hot).
This restaurant is in my regular rotation when I'm in the area for good reason. It has a quirky location and plenty of character, but it's definitely worth a visit."
