"The authentic Dominican cuisine at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. We tried the breakfast (Desayuno), beef empanadas, and Papa relleno, and all of the dishes were served piping hot and extremely tasty! The empanadas were generously filled with beef, making them even more satisfying. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food."

"Great food, have ordered through apps before. AWFUL customer service waited and the ETA kept changing, finally called and received no answer from the restaurant. Called again and finally I got a gentleman on the phone; he admitted the soup wasn't made, and I asked why they didn't bother to call me and let me know earlier. After hearing him complain about how hard life is for him and the restaurant, he finally stopped ranting and let me ask for something to replace the missing item. "Everthing tasted great we got a vari of things to try and were not dissapointed. The Empanada de Carne Beef Patty were delicious and well worth it. The Papa Rellena Potato Ball was really good and loved how crispy it was with the creamy mashed potatoes and meat inside. I had the Bistec Encebollado Onion Steak with mofongo which was so good,I also got a side of the Maduros Sweet Plantains which I got a medium, but iwould of been good with a small becbecause they give you a lot! My husband had the Pechuga a la Plancha Grilled Chicken Breast with rice and beans. For dessert he had his favorite Torta Tres Leches Tres Leches Cake (2 of them) which he loved, and they are individual servings which is nice. I tried the Mini Cheesecake which was really good and creamy and had a good graham cracker crust as well as the Torta de Zanahorias Carrot Cake which was 2 layers and delicious, it was light and airy and very flavorful and not too sweet, it was perfect!"

"I had the worst empanadas I've ever tasted at this place. As someone from Houston, Texas, I have a good grasp of quality Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the low price of the empanadas, but you’ll quickly understand why they're so cheap. They were poorly filled, overcooked, and seriously lacking in seasoning. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I’ve attached a photo of the chicken and cheese empanada to illustrate my point—believe me, they all looked like this."

"3 stars for an ok Mofongo when I expected great since they got some recognition back in 2015 for the Mofongo. I started with the codfish croquettes and that was the highlight of my meal which is not what I expected. I came here to try the famous award winning Mofongo and left a bit dissapointed. I ordered with pepper chicken which is basically chicken fajitas made with onions and peppers. The plantain mash was very dry and if it wasn't for the sauce that came with the fajitas it would've been even harder to eat. I got one piece of chewy pork rind(chicharron) in the mix and the outside of the mash was hard almost like chewing rubber. The chicken on the fajitas had really good flavor but was also very rubbery as if it was reheated. Honestly I ate this because I was really hungry but it was not a good meal except for the croquettes. guess they used to cook better and make an amazing Mofongo back on the day but I never had it before so l'm just judging what I had today."

"The empanadas are extremely dry and completely lack any meat—it's literally just an "empaNADA." The yaroas are mediocre at best; they don't even follow the traditional lasagna method but just toss on some meat and cheese and call it good. I suggest checking out Empanadas Monumental across the street instead. I usually end up here as a last option and always remember why it's my last choice, haha. Seriously, save yourself the trouble!"

"It's a true Domenican Style restaurant. Cafeteria style. Absolutely fantastic food here. I eat here at least three times a month if you don't speak Spanish don't worry, they speak enough English lol..if you live or work near here, go eat here; your stomach will love you for it!
