"I have enjoyed the sandwiches here so far, but unfortunately I found hairs in my sandwich. I found a short small hair and a long hair in the second half of my sandwich. I was disappointed because I was really enjoying the sandwich that my boyfriend treated me to. If I eat here again, I would appreciate it if the staff could please take the necessary precautions to ensure that the sandwiches are safe to eat. Despite this incident, I still love the sandwiches and would order from here again, but I will be checking my food first. Just to clarify, the hair was wrapped in the sandwich paper and not inside the sandwich."

"The quality of the food has deteriorated. The cost of everything, i.e. ice cream and food, has skyrocketed. And the service has slowed and are not very friendly. Not to mention employees EXPECT tips for performing any customer related task such as handing you your food at the drive through. I recently purchased 3 small ice cream cones as well as an ice cream for my furry companion and the total came to almost $20. FYI...they charge the same for a doggie cone as they do a people cone. Not a giid value."

"I absolutely love Steak 'n Shake! They consistently serve high-quality, delicious food at a great price. My only wish is that they had more locations so that even more people could enjoy their fantastic offerings. Whenever I walk into Steak 'n Shake, I feel like I've been transported back in time thanks to their classic interior design. It adds a wonderful touch to the overall dining experience. The burgers, which are a highlight of their menu, are still made the same way they were 50 years ago, showcasing their commitment to tradition and quality. One of the highlights of our trips to and from Las Vegas is always stopping at the Victorville location, which has become a cherished ritual for us. On my recent visit, I decided to change things up and opted for a cup of their chili instead of the usual fries. It was a delightful surprise—rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. "I called to ask about the painting on the side of the building and they called me back telling me not to prank call. I suppose the nice lady there did not understand. The artwork is pretty cool but flawed. It depicts arms holding out food and drink as though to hand it to you as you drive by problem is the hole is only slightly larger than the arm so my first thought when I saw it was that's pretty cool but how did they get the items out through the hole? So what it looks like is someone stuck their arm out another person drove by and handed them something and now they're stuck there holding it! Sorry to post here but you told me not to call back"

"Let me start out with a positive. The food was good. But the wait time was 20 to 25 minutes in drive thru, and our order was incorrect. We ordered a triple, a double, and hotdog. We got to the window and the cashier said your odered a single, a double, and hot dog...what did you want to drink. We corrected her and said we didnt order a drink and the single should be a triple. So she changed the ordered charged us the price for the triple. When we get home we had the order that was 4.00 cheaper and was the first order the cashier read and she knew it was wrong. Its so hard to find good customer service."

"I was happy that steak n’ shake an evening while in the opposite of st. louis. when I drove south, I saw one on the Google card, but realized it closed by 10 o'clock and it was 1030 o'clock. I have seen on my Google card that I passed 10min before an open until midnight. my need after a delicious burger and shake over the desire to keep “the curs”. I turned around and drove back. after a short wait in the drive-thru I was met with a smile and a happy candor. I got my order and went on my way, so much happier I had now this delicious burger, unique fries and delicious shake. my big koks was the size of mount everest and I would probably go into a sugar coma if I drank all the ding. great food and service!"
