Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier."

"Our reservation was at 730 we had family straggling i went ahead and ordered apps and drinks to get the ball rolling. 830 our orders go in and we received our first plate to the table at 1040pm. No manager came out to speak to us. Our server was the only apologetic one to try. The staff had friends at the host stand and nobody else helping to run food. We received are dishes 3 by 3 because that’s all our server could hold in her hands. I asked to speak with the manager to ask what was going on for a 400 dollar bill and then just said we were busy we were one of 6 tables in the whole building the whole evening. We were not looking for a discount we were looking for an exceptional experience as always with darden restaurants customers of over 30 years. Family was in from town from up north enjoying daytona i made a reservation on open table to meet them from orlando. This was deplorable. We left the server a $100 tip and another tip to find a new position at another restaurant with better logistics of customer service."

"The food was very flavorful and tasty. The bahamarita drink I ordered was delicious I excepted it to cost $14 because it was a big drink it was only $7.99. The waitress was very friendly and courteous and stayed on top of the service. Overall the food and service was good. I thought the bathrooms could have been cleaner and the table was a bit sticky feeling to me when I first sat down. So improve cleaniness."

"This evening we dined in the outside porch at the Bahama Breeze in Toms River. A terrible thunder shower with gale force winds began when we were dining. We were seated by an opening in the enclosure. My husband and I were soaked as were our meals. Stacked chairs went flying everywhere. We had to remove our food from the table and attempt to move our table away from the opening. We then began to dry the table and it was only then did someone come by to help us. We set our own table again and once finished with our meal the server advised us that we would have to pay for our meal with cash because of a power outage. This was extremely unprofessional and I feel some accommodation should have been made for us. We are very disappointed"

"I've eaten at other locations and enjoyed it, and this was no different. I started with the conch fritters and had the jerk chicken pasta for my entree, and both were excellent. Conch fritters can easily get gummy or chewy, but these were tender and flavorful with a great fried crunch. The jerk chicken wasn't half as spicy as I expected, but it was still delicious. The sauce was creamy and well-seasoned and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I also really enjoyed the island atmosphere and decor. All in all, a very nice dining experience and I'm already eager to go back."

Additionally, the servers could improve their service by checking in more often to see if we needed additional items like drinks, napkins, or desserts. "What a great dinner! My son I visit ended this restaurant on Saturday January 20th... And let me start off by saying we have a fantastic dinner! Our waitress Corinne M was AMAZING! She was so friendly and super attentive! Kept our drink refills full made sure we were happy the whole experience. Thank you Corinne for making our night wonderful. "I made a reservation for 4:30 but wasn’t seated until 5:10. After we were seated, we had to wait another 20 minutes, during which we could only order drinks even though we were ready to order our meals. I had to insist that my daughter's children order first due to a medical condition. Then they seemed to be disorganized with the waitstaff. One of our drinks came in a dirty glass, and they forgot about my children’s meals; theirs arrived only after everyone else was served. The check took forever to arrive as well. While the food was good, I doubt I'll return due to the poor service."
